I have a couple of safe queens now days. I have no intention of selling them. they will either be passed on to family members or I'll be buried with them

Well... this is the long gun forum, but it seems that everyone is psting their favorite pistols, so I guess I'll join in the de-rail!

S&W 19-3, 3 Ts. I LOVE this gun! No special story behind this one, really. I haven't inherited any guns other than Ruger Single Six that my Dad gave me last year. However, my kids will get a buttload of cool stuff when I kick the bucket! (Assuming the wife and I get around to procreation, instead of just recreation!)

As Joe down at herogear would say, another "junky old army gun". It missed the between war A1 rebiuild program, which would indicate it was probably overseas during the 20's, 30's or in private possession. Made The summer of 1913, part of the 4th delivery. The left grip somewhere down the line was replaced with a reproduction, probably 60's or 1970's vintage.

Yep, just another old crappy Army Gun! Very nice and congrats! Joe or I would be pleased to store it for you, certainly! A real treasure. That, people, is what a $3,000 C&R looks like. $4,000 with the correct left grip and barrel. The paperwork from the Grandfather is worth $1,000 with this gun. What a find!

That is my line too! The same rule that applies to picking up women applies here...ask 100 or so people and at least one will bite.

I really like the Marlin 1894CB I have... it's beautiful, has sentimental value, and is very enjoyable to shoot. It's one of the two guns out of my collection which I know I will keep for the rest of my life.

Have a Garand that stays in the safe until I take it out and shoot it (every other week - dang addicting).

It is a Springfield 44 one of my favorites. Built by very good Garand builder - Incredibly accurate

Not sure how practical it is.
