That is great. Glad to see you are getting training and especially when you can go with your father, it will provide memories you will never forget.

I am only about 30 minutes from VR so if you need anything before, during or after the class let me know. I will do what I can.

Trekbike, on post 9 photo 2, this is the ghost drill. It simulates having to shoot past good people. We drew our gun, put our front site on the brain, focused on the front sight, and pulled the trigger smoothly to my nose. This was a confidence building drill that shows that when the time comes for you to have to save lives it will only be you and the dirtbag. If you need any more info, I can try to explain it more.

Was that drill done with live fire or dry?

Live. Everything was.

Well just goes to show......apple doesn't fall far from the tree.  :shake:

Some people aren't going to like that......................................

 Totally unnecessary for civilian training.

There are very few people on this planet I would trust to shoot that close to me. And 90% of those that I would are Marines I have served with. The other ten percent are military and contractors. I just dont see a justification for that drill with live fire in a civilian setting, especially with a bunch of strangers I've never shot with. And I bet the noise and pressure wave was horrendous. Other than that the class looks interesting. Thanks for the review

The way I read it was that it simulates having to shoot past someone, not that they were actually doing it. Am I missing something?

The OP said it was live fire in post #19.
