New Member in Franklin

Joined last Summer, but just upgraded to premium due to all the great comments and people I see here. This is my first post. 

 

I arrived by way of a job transfer to Franklin, TN in January of 2007.  Before that, Chicago;  Before that, Longmont, CO;  Before that, Chicago;  Before that, Boston, MA; and before that, Minneapolis, MN.  I started out in my home town of Traverse City Michigan. Grew up loving sports, hunting, fishing, helping grandparents on the farm next door and even a little trapping in my teen years.  School was Michigan State - Go Spartans.

 

Now before you point out the obvious in my travels... I have had to work hard to wash off the liberal odor of those left leaning places I endured for my career and family:) I was unwittingly rewarded when I was came here, and I found such great people. While I met real good folks in each state I lived, I found a home in Tennessee.  I really mean it.  I am hooked, and God willing, I will be staying.  I know I am a Damn Yankee, but I have 9 years happily invested in working that off:)  I'll keep at it.

Welcome.  I grew south of Chicago and have traveled various places as well.  I am also glad to call TN home.  Been here 16 years and don't plan on moving unless I have to.
