  6. Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO. Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. The complete Trading Post Rules and also some more helpful suggestions can be found by clicking this link. Everyone should read them at least once! ~~~ This was an automatic reply ~~~
  7. I'm selling my 1942 Mosin-Nagant. It's very clean with no bore erosion. Also included are the original cleaning kit and 3 un-opened spam cans (440rds each) of 7.62×54R surplus ammo (total of 1320 rounds). The picture shows only two spam cans but I have three. Priced about $150 under the going rate. Sorry, I can't do any trades at this time. I'm selling to build up cash to buy a new safe. Must be legal to own and willing to sign a bill of sale. I can meet in the Chattanooga/Ooltewah/Cleveland area. Thanks guys!
  8. If you'll ship (I'll cover shipping fees), I'll take both the Benchmade Nimravus knives.... I can send paypal
  9. Today
  10. My wife wants me to get an ElectraGlide. I like the bike I have now. Would a touring bike really be that much more comfortable for her than the Fat Boy we’re riding now?
  11. I've actually already sold enough unwanted bits off of it, that technically I'm in credit with it

  13. Gun closet cleanout -- I'm guessing this stuff is classified as Non-firearms, but if Gear is a better description, please move it, esteemed moderators. 1. Two INERT MK2 hand grenades, the old WW2 "pineapples," with INERT (used) m228 fuses. These are fun as desk decorations or as paperweights, or if you just need more practice in throwing grenades. And don't we all? $10 each. 2. INERT cluster bomb munition BLU3, as used in the Vietnam War. Another fine desk decoration or paperweight. $15. 3. INERT 30mm cannon projectile (bullet), aluminum dummy with plastic driving bands. Think how great this would look on your office desk, or in your reloading room. $5. 4. Two MGW brand sight adjustment tools; #318 for S&W M&P, #319 for S&W Shield and Shield Plus. For removal, adjustment, and installation of front and rear sights. These are wonderful tools and probably the best sight pushers on the market; their only drawback is that the work only for specific guns. Lightly used; I got an MGW Sight Pro when they first came out and it replaced all my other sight pushers. $50 each; I'll sell the pair for $90. 5. USGI wooden box for MK3 hand grenades. I used this to store extra magazines, but you could put about anything in this sturdy box. You or your wife need a jewelry box? This is it. Or if you're handy, it might be fun to convert to an end table for your home office or game room. (MK2 hand grenades shown in the box not included; they're just there for scale.) $30. 6. Two Benchmade Nimravus fixed blade knives, black with black nylon sheaths. These are unused but have no boxes and show light handling marks. Look at the price of new ones and you'll see that these are a real steal. $50 each. For sale locally in Chattanooga unless you're wanting to buy all these items, in which case I'd drive a reasonable distance. Could also arrange to meet a potential buyer at the Camp Jordan Gun Show on June 28. Thanks for looking, Whisper
  14. Hahaha! It's on my 'I could probably use a bit 'o tubing that size' pile
  15. Ahhh.... what else am I gonna spend $200 on?! I'd be completely screwed if I was still drinking!
  16. Great looking gun, friend. I enjoy well-used tools. Wish I could use it. GLWS!
  17. Those Otis cleaning kits are a racket. Like when you see all the crazy 16-piece knife sets when just a few key ones are all you need. Just buy things you'll use to clean, and find something to put them in. I still have an old ammo can for mine. Oil, (I use Break Free and Rem Oil) Q-tips Pipe cleaners Old dental tools Boresnake Toothbrush Shop towels I can't remember when I've used anything else. It's not complicated. Just get as much of the carbon off as you can with the oil and tools, it doesn't have to be pristine, look for any rusting, and a good coat of oil wherever metal touches metal. For the AR, I had an old Sergeant tell me, "pretend the bolt carrier is your dick, the rest is wherever you're putting it, and lube both up".
