I had a laugh at that one but I just finished it and enjoyed it. I'll get started on another one in a day or two. I'll admit I dont enjoy reading a book as much on line as I do with the book in my hand sitting in the recliner but this one did keep me reading.

This past Sunday I was in LBL and asked a park ranger if the new law on carry in nation parks and wildlife refuges was going to include LBL. He told me they are waiting to find out what LBL is going to do about this and also how they are under different agencies, LBL is forest service instead of Dept of interior. He also told me that LBL is using officer discretion on people with carry permits even though it is against policy. Without coming out and saying it he told me it was alright to carry with a permit and that if he was where I was with his family he would not want to be unarmed. He said "I cant come out and tell you its OK to carry. He said the officers in LBL felt that citizens with carry permits were the least of their worries and knew they would not be drinking, transporting drugs, or shooting up the park. You will have to make your own decision on this but I will not think twice about what to do anymore.

Try going to the local stores. Thats half the fun. You get to look at everything they have and talk guns while you are there. Now, if you just dont have the time excuse what I just said and try someone else.

I'm glad you put in the part about after the next session of the GA. I doubt they would ever get on it that quick but you never know and I have hope we will finally get some changes in our laws.

Mousetail Landing SP has some shelters overlooking the Tenn River. The hike is probably a half mile or a little more. This is no cabin. Is is as close to camping as you will get with a roof over your head. No electricity and screens instead of windows but the view is great.

I sold one last weekend. Nothing wrong with the mil pro. Shot good and had a great feel in my hand. Just never liked the trigger very much. If I needed a firearm fast and did not have a lot of money I would get another.

I have one also and have never had a problem of any kind. Lots of fun. I put a red dot on mine (old eyes cannot see the sights) and made it that much more fun. +1 on the grease. What a mess that was.

Since you are not going to carry this gun look for a used Ruger P95. Its a little heavy for carry but would be great for what you are going to use it for and will not break the bank. They shoot good and are reliable.

You are correct. The 45c is larger than the 40c. That is the only thing that keeps me away from the 45c.

I left there from that location last week and did not see any kind of sign. I called myself really looking and don't I missed anything but........

I trust my PF9 completely. It has never once malfunctioned in any way. I did send it back for the new frame but it worked fine before that. The potential is there with any semi auto to malfunction before a revolver. I only carry it when the way I am dressed keeps me from carrying my M&P40C on my belt. Then I pocket carry and I pick the PF9 because of the flatness. It's just more comfortable in the pocket. Is it better than a revolver? No. DOes it work? Yes. And it holds more rounds and is very light.

I have been leaving a handgun in my black vehicle while at work. They don't get any hotter than black. You'll be OK.
