  1. 69931 - SIG Sauer SP2022 Semi Automatic Handgun 9mm 3.9" Barrel 15 Rounds Black Polymer Frame and Grips Contrast Sights Includes One Magazine and Extra Grip Here's a new deal for this gun and it's not a bad one at all. It's $367.38 and $10.99 shipping for me (I assume everyone because that's a weird shipping cost. This is a fantastic gun and one of the best budget guns you can get. It's a Double Action/Single Action pistol like all the other Sig's but it has a polymer frame. Only comes with 1 Mag which is standard but if you can wait, CDNN Investments normally puts their mags on sale every so often for $10 each. Enjoy!
  2. 76575 - SIG Sauer P226 Diamond Plate Semi Automatic Handgun 9mm 4.40" Barrel 16 Rounds Polymer Grips Diamond Plate Finish Cheaper than Dirt has a FULL SIZE Sig Sauer P226 for $634.94 plus shipping. Shipping came out to $10.99 for me. This is the diamond plate slide model. If you really don't like the slide, you can always buy a Caliber X-Change kit and just use that new slide and sell this old one (actually they do sell pretty good on gun broker as some people love them and some don't). This is a great gun. It uses a Double Action/Single Action system and is very accurate right out of the box. I have a P226 and a P229 personally and love them both. These are also solid metal guns and not polymer which is definitely a big plus in my book. It should come with 2 or 3 mags but here's the factory specs. Enjoy!
  3. Also, here's a new deal for the SP2022. $367 plus shipping from Cheaper Than Dirt. 69931 - SIG Sauer SP2022 Semi Automatic Handgun 9mm 3.9" Barrel 15 Rounds Black Polymer Frame and Grips Contrast Sights Includes One Magazine and Extra Grip
  4. I carry my P226 IWB using a Supertuck and an Advance Holster (supertuck clone) and I have no problems with either. The controls pretty much just imprint into the leather backing on my holsters anyway. If you've got Patience, CDNN normally puts them on sale for $10 each every so often. I think as of late, they've been doing it about once every three months alternating between 9mm and .40
  5. I bought my dad the 124gr +p so I have never shot this or used this ammo as I use .40. However, I love my Ranger T-Series 180gr and 165gr bullets. Winchester Ranger SXT 9mm 147 gr (RA9T) Test with Denim - YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACBSyqb2vP4
  6. The 2022 is hands down the best of this bunch. I like to look at the Sigma as a decent budget gun if the funds are tight. The P95 I've never shot or handled but it seems it's about in the same price range as the Sig SP2022 so I would definitely choose it over those. The only thing that blows about the SP2022 is that it will only come with 1 Mag and you will need to buy the rest yourself. However, on a positive note, CDNN regularly puts the SP2022 factory 9mm and 40 mags on sale for $10 each so just keep a look out for those to get yourself some extra mags.
  7. .40 or 9mm for me. Depending on if it was just a toy gun or adding to the collection. Knowing myself, my first M&P will be .40 as all my guns are .40.
  8. Well Dave, here's my 2 cents. I've always loved IPB over vBulletin. It's just my favorite forum software. The only thing I hate about IPB is trying to integrate it into any CMS for a website but thankfully, we don't really need to worry about that here. The only thing I can see being a problem is a migration of the payment system for the Benefactor but that should be easily remedied (the only reason I say it could be a problem is because I've never used a payment system within IPB and I stopped at IPB 3.x I believe). That being said, don't forget to get the downloads module if it comes free in the bundle. If not, don't worry about it. The other modules were never really "needed" in my opinion. They do but they want you to pay for it for some odd reason. Here's a demo: Group Home - Invision Power Board
  9. Yay! CCA is really hit or miss but I'm glad you guys got a hit. Now, every time I go is a hit but they know I'm not going to buy anything unless it's at an amazing price as I get discounts. However, the lady at the counter is correct. Their guns don't get cleaned very often at all. In fact, I'm pretty sure they never cleaned that Glock 22 they have in there until it started light striking. The DA to SA trigger pull is definitely not a light pull but then again, that's also meant to be the safety. Did she try a S&W M&P series pistol? If she really liked the XD 9mm, tell her not to be discourage about the dirty guns. In fact, since it's a pretty popular pistol, see if you can arrange a range meeting with a user on here that has one.
  10. You should try the Walmart off the Clinton exit of I-75. They have a crap ton of ammo there compared to all the ones in Knoxville.
  11. Yes. Its my first but it seems I have a.few helpers.to let me know things and help with assembly. I know it will be an amazing gub Sent from my US740 using Tapatalk
  12. I can't wait to hold that AR of yours on Monday! I'm getting excited. I'm not even that pissed that Sig raised the bloody prices on my IOP accessories again Apparently, my stripped lower just shipped today even though they stated they wouldn't be shipping anything until Jan 15th.
  13. I don't know if any of that is correct but I do know that Walmart does that with a lot of their stuff. They get companies to have their work contracted out to be cheaper on both the company and Walmart and ensures that their products sell at a certain price point. There's an article about the former CEO of a lawnmower making company that said no to Walmart in which they tell him that he needs to do that.
  14. Not at all. It's just the fork with the wings logo like at the top left corner of their website. There's no gunbuster sign on the door or any language for a legal posting. Just that sticker. So then they put it up there just to reassure the masses. Wonderful...the stupid can continue to be stupid and the legal carrying can still happen all because people are stupid.
  15. Lolz. I'd definitely want to be there when the guns were delivered just to be sure they were handling it properly and at least wearing gloves (no one wants your ugly fingerprints on their new gun). +1 for this. Bring back the notion that a gun in the house is a good thing. No more of the "Guns kill unborn children" and other anti gun crap (I realize that's not it but I said it for effect). I would love to go grocery shopping and then stop by and check out a Sig Pro Sp2022 for $349 at Walmart!. The only downside I can see to this is that Walmart will have a lot of the cheaper guns (they've got to sell after all) and their staff, unless they decide to hire in guys that actually know their stuff, will definitely have to spend some time in training to learn their firearms.
  16. So I went to Soccer Taco on Bearden Hill yesterday to pick up some food and head back to work and as I'm walking in I see this sticker on their door for Gun Free Dining Tennessee. I wanted to take a picture of it but there were too many people waiting for tables. However, the restaurant wasn't posted at all. So what's the point of the sticker except to draw more customers. Also, I mean is it really that big of a deal to the masses that they eat in a restaurant that doesn't allow legal carrying. I'm glad they aren't posted because if they were, I'd have to stop eating there and I LOVE their food.
  17. This is her own fault for messing up. Granted the punishment does not suit the crime (as realistically, she's had a background check and is fingerprinted so it seems asinine) but a crime is a crime none the less. A smarter person would know you don't EVER carry to Illinois, California, or NY, or NJ for that matter EVER.
  18. Yeah Walmart's new initiative is to get back into gun sales. They've got Sig556's, 223's, and 22LR's. Bushmaster's 556 I believe and also a Judge long gun. Also, according to Walmart employees, they will be selling handguns shortly after the first of the year. I would freaking LOVE it if Walmart started doing FFL transfers at $15 a pop!
  19. I honestly don't know how to respond to this. Okay, I had to think about it and now I've got my response. After reading all of your responses in your traffic stops, I must say that I am amazed at the number of good traffic stops you guys have with police. I offer nothing except what's being asked and just want my ticket so I can go about my day. That being said, I don't like cops so I stopped speeding a long time ago for the specific purpose that I want nothing to do with them. I figured, the easiest way to get them to leave me alone is to never break the law. So I don't and I'm perfectly okay with this.
  20. It's her fault but NY laws are so horrendous. I mistake is not worth 3.5 years of your life or losing your HCP because of it. They should say, you know what, you messed up. Pay a terrible fine and go about your business.
  21. Smart man
  22. Interesting. Do the signs on TVA property that say no guns apply to HCP holders as well?
  23. You're making my pocket depressed Oh well, I'll just buy this sucker and give it a shot after I buy a lower parts kit. Although, realistically, I'm probably not going to finish this build before April or May anyway. I just want to make sure I have it finished before we go camping. Speaking of which, will definitely need to buy a rifle case at somepoint.
  24. Nopers not at all. It just happens to be what I'm buying today I base my $$ on what I am buying. If I'm buying X thing, I don't care if one place has Y for cheaper than another if X is still more expensive and that's my main reason for going. However, I plan my purchases in such a way that if I want Y say next week, I'll remember that Y is cheaper over there and I'm since I'm going to be in that area later on, I can pick it up then without going out of my way. Hmmm....that reminds me...must call Bob back and see if he has one other Champagne in stock. Sad panda They don't have the Rose Imperial but they do have the Nectar Imperial for $49.99 which isn't bad. Best part, they have Dom
