  1. Majority of Dickson city use glock 22 as well as dickson co. sherrifs dept. Seen a couple of 1911s too.
  2. So what's the gov't ploy in all this? Allowing (or causing) fear and hysteria to happen in isolated incidents, and then start banning more substances with the general publics approval. Problem is, what happens when they start banning stuff we need? Swat teams and raw milk.
  3. Glad I found this post, I've carried in the galleria a bunch of times cause I haven't seen the signs on the doors, guess I'm in the dumb and blind category for not noticing the signs on the road.
  4. If those babies ever get shipped out they are gonna sell like mad.
  5. Indeed, I hope a heart to heart with the landlord could clear some of it up and help them work out a deal.
  6. My opinion, is that your life and family's life is more important than living somewhere just to honor a lease agreement. If your advice is to honor your lease over your life, I would not call that level headed advice. If my landlord showed up tomorrow and told me that if I did not remove my firearms I could no longer live in my condo, I would move.
  7. I can do without your asinine comments on my credit score - OhMy
  8. Yea its a lot easier to wipe the powder residue off with the tape on there, and doesn't get in the threading
  9. Copper heads and Rattle snakes are a dime a dozen down here in Dickson county. Killed my fair share of them, all kinda ways
  10. ^^^ You are right the Lanyard is mostly for playing, My friends are LEO and Military and they seem to like the lanyard, so I want to try it. However, when it comes it SHTF, I'm pretty serious. Plate carrier is hanging right next to the wife and mine assault packs if we need to go heavy depending on situation. We have different levels of pre-packed bug out gear always at hand. Pre mapped out routes to get to the parents farm in case of a total society melt-down, and even extra stuff stored at friends houses along the way. We're pretty serious haha.
  11. This seems like a terrible situation, but not more terrible than being caught without your firearm when someone decides they want something you have. MOVE. Contract or not, no one can stop you.
  12. Here's some pics with the alumigrips http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo346/nathanielbennett85/My%20Firearms/P220-3.jpg http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo346/nathanielbennett85/My%20Firearms/P220-2.jpg http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo346/nathanielbennett85/My%20Firearms/P220-1.jpg
  13. Thanks for all the replies. This is not really for carry, I've carried it a little bit in a crossbreed-ish type holster but I've been using it in more of a "tactical" role. I have a safariland light bearing thigh rig and I've been training with that in my SHTF type scenarios (AR, plate carrier, ect.). Friends that I shoot with all have their tacticool lanyards and I was hoping I could find some grips to accommodate one. Sigs website doesn't really seem to have any accessories at all so I supposed I should just give them a call. Seems like the non-slim polymer grips have a lanyard loop, but I can't find them for sale, anywhere.
  14. I just recently purchased a Sig p220 dark/elite, and I'm already thinking of new grip options. Came with the alumigrips, and although grippy, they seem freezing to the hands when carried during these cold nights this past week. So I've been researching some other grip options. I like the wood grips, but I'm looking for something "tacticool" that's a little more stealthy and has a lanyard loop. I can't find ANY grips with lanyard loops, tell me I'm missing something.
  15. I'm also a fan of 4 sevens lights. I recently picked up another Maelstrom g5 to add to my collection on optics planet for $99. IMO the versatility and quality can't be matched at that price. From the Preons to the Quarks, to some of their full size (mag lite size) models they have really impressed me. Downside for me is they use the fancy batteries that cost an arm an a leg, upside is they they are incredibly powerful.
  16. I have a white hat holster, similar to a crossbreed supertuck. Between the holster and how light the pf9 is I hardly notice it is there.
  17. I got my first Sig just a couple days ago, so I can't really speak from a lot of experience. I will say that I've been carrying my p220 railed for about 5 days in an IWB holster and I have had no problems. At night I snap on a TLR-1 light and put it on the night stand. I do NOT like Sigs night sights. I think they are too tall, big, and ugly. Thinking about putting on a set of XS Big dots per J. Yeager
  18. never owned glocks, don't like the grip angle. But i'm thinking about picking up a couple used G17s, some glock lights, and some G18 mags for a bug out bag
  19. if it weren't so ugly I'd get one. Yea I'm a knot-head.
  20. Picked mine up on buds gun shop dot com for $240, it's snappy but not anything too bad.Crimson trace laser grips for the gun run about $210, but it mounts on the trigger guard instead of attaching to the front rail. Laser Sight For Kel-Tec PF-9 LG-435 | Crimson Trace Laser Grips I've seen guys shoot steel case ammo out of it on youtube but I haven't shot it myself, hear KT has great CS but haven't needed to contact them yet
  21. The ESEE bug hit me a couple months ago. Went out and thrashed on the ESEE 4 and 6 and they've held up great.
  22. Retro indeed, sweet looking rifle.
  23. The cap that came with it just made it that much more awesome! haha
