  17. Cool, that looks like just what I need. I'm going to order some right now. Thanks!
  18. Oops! I meant to post this in the "Firearms Accessories" section. I have no idea how I put it here....might be due to my beverage of choice for this evening Mods, please feel free to move to the appropriate place.
  19. The front sight on my AK is black and it's a little hard to see. I'm thinking of painting it white or maybe fluorescent green or orange so I can see it better. The back sights are white and they show up good. Can I use any kind of paint or does someone make a paint just for this purpose? Also, you AK guys out there......there's a front sight that flips up and covers the regular sight that's obviously a night sight, because it still glows in the dark. Problem is, it's loose and it won't stay in the upright position. Does anyone know how can I tighten it? It looks to be attached with a pin.
  20. This is a sad day for me. One of my best friends passed away today. I just finished burying him in my backyard. He was a German Shepherd named Nitro that I raised from a puppy. He was 11 years old. He was loyal, intelligent, protective, and he was my friend. This is the most recent picture I have of him. I'm going to miss you buddy.
  21. I looked at the picture again and I think you're right about that being a tail light.....it did look like the head of someone though you gotta admit
  22. How do you know it wasn't officer baldy, while scared s***less and hiding behind the car, that didn't grab the rifle and hand it to her?
  23. Well, the first thing I noticed was Officer Baldy hiding behind the car while the lady officer at least had the guts to grab the rifle and come out of cover!!
  24. I come from a family of sportsmen.....guns & shooting, hunting, fishing, camping, etc. I shot my first gun, a Winchester model 94 lever action .22 with a scope, when I was 4 years old. My dad would kneel on the ground and let me stand behind him with the .22 rested on his shoulder and shoot targets, cans, or whatever was available. From targets and cans I moved up to squirrels, and then a 12 guage shotgun and deer. My dad was a WWII vet, an avid gun collector and shooter as well as a hunter, so I grew up shooting rifles, shotguns, and handguns of all makes, models and calibers. When my dad had free time, we were shooting, hunting, fishing, or camping somewhere. I've had access to my own loaded gun in the house since I was 12 years old and I've had my carry permit for over 10 years. My dad believed in having the ability to defend yourself and your family, and passed that belief down to me. Now, my son is almost four, and I'll soon be starting to teach him all the great things my dad taught me. I just hope I can make my dad proud and keep his legacy alive.
