    Kahr PM9

That's what I thought - too good of a deal to pass up.

    Kahr PM9

I own both must say though that I only mod the Glock trigger - the Kahr has that smooth even pull. I personally think the Kahr would be perfect if it was just a tad shorter.

    Kahr PM9

I sold my last Kahr PM9 2 years ago when I picked up my Shield.  I thought I had moved on, then today at a LGS I look down and see a new 2 tone PM9. It had a sticker price of $579, which I thought was pretty cheap for a PM9. The guy saw me looking at it and said he would make me a deal on it if I wanted it and was really interested.  I really didn't think I wanted it since I was happy with my current 2 carry guns.  Then I held it.... why did I do that!!     He said make me an offer, I said $450 out the door he said okay without even blinking - WTF.  5 minutes later I'm walking out with it. Guess I got another one to break in and put some NS on maybe even cerakote that shiny slide since I'm in so little on it.   I really just went in to see if they had any blue label Glocks in stock - just one of those days I guess.
  5.   Yes, it was early in the book.
  6. Looks great, keep it up
  7. I've used the KAK, its obnoxious. Like a mini nuke.
  8. That's pretty light, should be good to go.
  9. Agreed most are but the 7075 lowers and matching uppers DDLES got before were fixed. They matched the hand guard, it was before they started using the Mur uppers as an option.
  10. Looks pretty good, only things I see is the hand guard kit what's the weight? You want to keep it as light as possible. Also, the upper - it's just personal preference but not a fan of the 9mm/22 uppers with the shortened ejection port. It takes away the option to convert it for whatever reason - also the 9mm bolt doesn't have cuts in to use the forward assist. As far as barrel length goes, look at Dolomites post #3 with the ballistics - with the extra 3 inches (7.5 v 10.5) you gain less than 25fps. Just make sure that extra length and weight is what you want. For me it wasn't worth the extra length. The price looks pretty reasonable I would say do it.
  11. Good write up that covers the details of the build. Swim - if you get one and run it as a pistol just let me know I'll share my specs and build list. I actually have a couple delrin spacers for the buffer tube I sized and turned down - you'll need one.
  12. Exactly what KKing said, I waited right at 10 months for my lower and bolt. I talked to John the owner several times and he was always having problems - mostly self inflicted. Maybe under the new owner it will be different, the product itself though is top notch. Another alternative is the Lonewolf lower, it doesn't look as good and last time I heard couldn't be bought stripped. Worth checking out though.
  13. Swim - I built my 9mm DDLES AR as a pistol with a 7" barrel. I run it with an AFG and a saddle on the buffer tube. Can't say enough good stuff about it, did I mention it uses Glock "Happy Sticks"? It has been flawless through about 600 rds. If you're interested here is a link for the stripped lower http://www.riflegear.com/p-1647-double-diamond-ar-15-9mm-glock-magazine-lower-receiver.aspx, I bought mine from the mfg but they were not very CS savvy. It uses the ramped bolt for the glock mags, other than that everything else is the same. I'll post a pic from when I finished the build in a few, it's on my phone.
  14. Same here, got this message this am. Tried a reinstall, no luck.
  15. Events like this that are being video recorded will eventually be used in a defense trial when somebody actually levels the field and drops multiple targets because he/she knows and understands the threat.  These events are becoming so common you would think that people would exert more diligence in their situational awareness.   Be ready, be vigilant in your carry, and don't be a victim.
  16. I have Yahoo and about 4 months ago all my notifications started going to my junk mail. I've tried to change it also but no luck so if you figure it out let me know.
  17. This really chaps my butt, I have to drop out.  I have to be back in Alabama by 5 pm for my daughters confirmation commencement stuff at church.  I didn't know they were going to make a big deal out of the beginning of it, it's usually only when the Bishop comes at confirmation.  Just found out yesterday and I just can't make it work - I knew I should have made my wife be her sponsor.   In an earlier post I saw a Chattanooga class mentioned but looked on the site and couldn't find it - only Dayton.  Any other info?   ***Edit -found it on Cruel Hand Luke's content.
  18. Looks like on your hipperfire the hammer spring is correct.  I've seen a lot of them reversed, just make sure it hugs the notch on the hammer and the spring legs come off to the front.   I would also second what LawEnforcementSales said- the Tactical Inovations or the JP Anti walk pins are personally preferred to the KNS. Half the price of KNS also without the bar running between them: http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/triggers-bottom-metals/hammer-parts/hammer-pins/ar-15-anti-walk-pins-prod7589.aspx?avs|Manufacturer_1=J%20P%20ENTERPRISES
  19. Ahh sh$@, wish I had seen this before I committed to a family event - if I could get out of it without ruffling so many feathers I would. Please post up the next one - I'll be in.
  20. I lived there for 7 years.  I would recommend Maui, Kaui, or the Big Island.  Oahu isn't bad but you have to get away from downtown Waikiki sucks - the north shore is what it's all about but not a lot of restaurants shopping etc - so a car is a must. On a good day it's an hour easy to Turtle Bay driving from downtown the only real resort on the North Shore - most people rent the beach houses.   The Big Island and Kaui are my personal favorites, for the price though as others have said many an all inclusive vacations can be had for cheaper. Also, gas prices downtown will be $4.50 a gallon at least.
  21. DSG has 187g Gemtech subsonic in stock for those of you who don't load your own - great price of $18 for 20 rounds. Discount codes to be had as well.   Here is the link: http://dsgarms.com/gemammo-300blk-187
  22.   It's actually called transient cerebral ischemia - emphasis on "transient".  Unpretentiously, yes - it is less damaging.
  23. Was racking my head, on another forum a guy had made these.  Everyone seems to be happy with it thus far:http://www.avatactical.com/
