  1. The downside to Efile is each day feels like 4 days. I am at 16 days (it just says submitted/in process) and it feels like 16 weeks lol. This is my first one and I am worse that a kid at Christmas.
  2. I have an ECHO i got at Rural King for 200 bucks that I really like.
  3. Looks very clean, with good lines. I like it. How well does the suppressor tame that 7.5 barrel?
  4. I assure you all, that is not what it looks like in downtown Ashland City. :shake:
  5. So far so good. We shot 60 rds tonight and it seems very accurate. We used two targets, one for each of us, and each shooting a follow up shot as quick as we could but not just random rapid fire. We each made a tennis ball sized hole in the target, at about 35~40 yds.
  6. Yeah, it is really snug. We just put 60 rds through it some in rapid fire and it did not budge.
  7. as far as their reputation, I can only give my opinion because I had never heard of them either. I really just took a gamble and for right now feel like I won. I could not find any bad reviews, and the one good review that had a negative to it explained that they went out of their way to make it right, and that ws simply a loose hand guard.   It came with the PSA pistol build kit. You are correct it is not all the way forward. That thing is tight as hell and I went through half of Georgia to get it that far on. I figured as tight as it is I would slide it forward to the best spot for me and stop. I am hoping with a few shots it might go on a little further lol.
  8. It feels really balanced to me. The rail on this upper is very very light. As a matter of fact, how light this upper is, was the first thing I noticed after unboxing. If I had to guess it is some type of Yankee Hill knock off. I only say that because it attaches like a YH and uses their wrench. The sling on it is a two point/single point that I made myself with some army surplus hardware and some HK clips. Single point is really comfortable with something this short.
  9. This is the answer I have based on the research I have done. The longer the barrel can be will benefit the effects of a suppressor. Ultimately this will be suppressed (thanks again Dolomite).
  10. It is a Sightmark red dot that I have had for years so it did not get included in the build list. Sorry about that.   So far I am very happy with it. I posted a reply in your thread.   I also forgot to thank OhShoot for all his posts and the leg work he put into the Sig brace questions, and both he and Dolomite for clearing up some questions I had on OAL. Also thanks to anyone who has built a pistol and posted a write up here. They were very helpful.
  11. I don't post much on here, I do read and learn a lot though. That being said I thought it might be nice to let some you guys see what you talked me through doing without even knowing. This is my first build, my first AR pistol, and my first time having to determine what is legal and what is not. This is an Anderson Arms stripped lower ($71 otd at lgs), PSA LPK and M16 BCG ($158 total), a Hardened Arms 10.5" Upper in 5.56 w/ Free float rail ($240 shipped form Gunbroker), and a cheap set of flip up irons that my local shop had on the shelf for 20 bucks, They are metal and hold very well so I like them. Then finally the SBX brace from Rockwell arms($121 shipped). That is $610 total which I think is pretty good. This is my new "truck/get me home, can be carried in my back pack range toy, and I think I am in love.........
  12. I have a Hardened Arms 10.5 upper in 5.56. I am very happy with it. It is free float, and is a lot more accurate than I was expecting. It has a very tight fit to my Anderson Lower with no rattle at all. I got mine off of Gunbroker for less than 3 bills shipped.
  13. Do you mean the SBX specifically? I have seen a tone of the SB15 in FDE.
  14. For anyone intereested this site is having a pre black friday sale. Use coupon code PREBLACK for 10% off. I just got the sbx for 121.00 and free shipping. thanks OS for the link.
  15. I was in a god foresaken wal mart tonight and noticed they did not even have labels on the shelves for .22, at all. I thought I had over looked it so I did a re check and nope, no space marked for .22. Do they just keep it at the counters now and you have to ask??
  16. Thank you both for your relplies. I was certainly confused on the matter and obviously had the measuring method for a rifle backwards which is more than a little embarrassing lol.
  17. That is how I was thinking it. An AR rifle is measured from the threaded end of the barrel (unless muzzle device is permanantly attached) to the butt of a fully collapsed stock, I thought it might be the same with a sig brace, but I am not sure because the brace is not permanant.
  18. So I understand this to mean that you have to have 26" BEFORE the sig brace is on?? You cannot include the sig brace in the measurement?
  19. I bought a Remmy 1100 and a migratory bird permit. I plan to go hunting for the frst time in a very long time and for the first time with my son.
  20. I love my airguns. I Have a Beaman RS2 in .22 that I haven't shot in a long time due to where we live now. I also have a  Bennjamin pump, a 392 I think that we call the grackle blaster. I use it to dispatch all the small starlings and blackbirds that run of all the song birds in the yard. Learning to shoot a springer with an artillery hold will make you a crack shot with a rimfire. I would love to have one of the new nitro pistons but the velocity is to high to shoot in my yard.
  21. If you want to have fun with balloon targets try this. Fill a single with the high expansion spray foam insulation and put it at about fifty yard. Then you tell them that the first person to pop the balloon with iron sights gets 100 bucks. We did it one day and I have never laughed so hard in my life.
  22. Just got a chance to watch..............Holly shit
  23. Way to go! You will be happier for it.
  24. I saved more than that in half the time.
