  1. Who would have thought that would be true statement?
  2. I have never heard of them but thanks for the link.
  3. Very nice! I really like the first one, it has very clean lines.
  4. You know the irony to that is; the dog will be all cleaned up and smelling good while he licks himself, you on the other hand......well.....
  5. We palnted 2 apple, 2 plum and 2 cherry trees this year. I am really looking forward to picking fresh fruit one day,
  6. I got to thinking after reading a few articles on purifying water at home in a SHTF situation, does anyone ever test thier system. If so how? Do you send the water off to be tested? Buy a meter of some type??
  7. Three eggs that were under our chickens yesterday, Homemade biscuits, becuase Mrs gunwhatgun loves us, with blackberry jam we made from blackberries from across the street, and some sausage from costco lol.
  8. To use he term "gentleman" was quite gracious of you. I wonder how much of what they  are reselling has been purchased here.
  9. I was using the same one you have now and never had a single problem with the mag release. Now I am using a fobus paddle holster and love it.
  10. Me and a buddy went squirrel hunting about 20+ years ago. his dad ended up walking along with us but not hunting. I was quite the novice and very excited about my second hunting trip. After about 30 minutes I got one and dropped it in the pouch on the back of my vest. About 20 minutes later as we were relocating I felt something move on the small of my back. I instanly knew what was wrong, The squirrel was still alive. I knew instantly how to handle this situation, I ran as hard as I could backwards and slammed into a tree, then would step forward and would thrust back into the tree trying to save myslef from the impending revenge of a stunned squirrel. On about the third time slamming by trophy into the tree I noticed my buddy and his dad laughing hysterically and the stick that the dad used to poke me in the back still in his hand.
  11. So two guns and one must be .22? Then I choose a 9mm hi capp pistol, i.e. M&P, glock ect.... and one of those Rossi .22/.410 over under things.
  12. It is late July, I thought I would bump this up and see how everyones garden was doing. Our cukes and squash are slowing down but the tomatoes have really just stated kicking out a steady supply of reds. Peppers are rockin' as well as the okra. the second crop of beans is starting to come up and the melons are getting bigger. How are things going for yall?
  13. Thanks, I had never heard of any of this. It just sounds cool to do.
  14. I don't mean to hi jack but does this work in reverse? Can I convert my 9mm to .357sig?
  15. I have never seen a pistol like that, but judging by the price and the words here I may have to get one myself. I think you made and awesome choice.
  16. All I know is if I have done all this and the damn zombies don't come, I am going to be pissed. Just in case though I have prepped for just such a emergency, I have included in my preps several box type fans and a case of laxatives.
  17. I want to clarify that I did not mean to imply ignorance on your part, I have just seen those two get confused many times. I hope my post did not seem out of line, and if it did I apologize.
  18. The issue you have is (and you probably already know this but...) it is not 7.62x54r, it is 7.62x51 i.e. .308. It will not work in your Mossin or Type 53.
  19. Well I guess his decision will affect the entertainment schedules of exactly zero states.
  20. I am a ford guy so of course I am going to say F150. That being said, and since you already said you are thinking about a pre-owned, I would shy away from the new eco boost. Not meaning to be harsh to anyone who has one, but... I have a friend who has one and he cannot get anywhere near the advertised mileage. Also, and I know I will get flamed for this but, a 6 cyl is just not enough for a full size truck (excluding the 4.9 inline 6 form Ford LOL) not even with 6 turbos let alone 2.
  21. Pee seasoned.......really? I would have gone a different way with the flavoring
  22. Well you could use dry ice. It would flash freeze the veggies much quicker than the freezer. Just but a couple or three one pound blacks in a cooler and your good to go.     Just for use over the winter so we can have stuff from the garden rather than God knows what from a tin can that has been cooked and processed to the point it has no nutrients left.
  23. Does this pic seem a little off to anyone? Just sayin....
  24. Huh both of those sound cool. I have never heard of squash pickles. I have also not heard of pre-breading then freezing.
  25. Cool. You should arrange them in a "G" and make another pic.
