  1. I just voted. Currently 51% NO, 49% YES.
  2. Welcome and enjoy TGO.
  3. A guy gave me a Lorcin once. . . I gave it back to him after the first time I tried to shoot it.
  4. I've been looking for a new weather radio and found this one today.  But i'm thinking again now, if theWR 100 doesn't work the WR 120B may not either.    http://www.amazon.com/Midland-WR-120B-Weather-Certified-Trilingual/dp/B00176T9OY/ref=pd_sim_e_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1DJTD9VX57AR4T81EW03
  5. The news said two dead in Oklahoma. I take the bad weather reports seriously even though they usually overstate the problem. My truck is under the carport and my dog has been walked for the night. Be safe everyone.
  6. Well, it's been ten days and I guess I'm ready to talk about Max. He loved people, other dogs and even cats.  He loved Halloween. When the kids came to the door he went out on the porch and looked at all of them and they would pet him. He was bossy. He thought he ran the house and I let him think that. He lived a long happy life and when the time was here it was time to let him go. I'm glad Murfreesboro has a vet clinic that's open 24/7.  And thanks to the members on TGO for your support.
  7. Yes TDR, rescue from a shelter is the way to go. I have another dog whose owner was going to have put down because she was moving and couldn't take the dog to her new place. My daughter just got a rescue about a month ago, Lab mix, beautiful dog. My girlfriend and I have placed two strays in the last couple of years to good homes. Yes Mike.357, he was a helluva dog, aggravating and bossy, but I loved him and gave him a good life. Yeah rugerla1, I let my other dog out to run in my fenced back yard a while ago and when she came in I got two treats out of the box, one for her and one for Max. She got both of them. Thank you all for the thoughts.  Bill Parks
  8. I had to have my 17 Year old Miniature Dachshund put to sleep tonight. His health had been going downhill for a while and tonight he started having seizures, Vet said a stroke, so it was time. I could tell his mind was gone.  He will be missed. RIP Max!!!
  9. I don't remember hearing about this when it happened. Love the lady's attitude.           http://www.wsmv.com/story/25220580/woman-who-killed-hit-man-hired-by-own-husband-has-message-for-other-survivors
  10. My stepson and I delivered my tractor, Kubota l175, to my daughter's farm so now she can mow and clear land to her heart's content! That was fun. And now I'm tired. But it's a good kind of tired.
  11. Welcome sir and thank you for your service. Just look around here a while and you will find the answers to your questions. I go to Publix regularly and have never seen a gun-buster sign.
  12. Thoughts and prayers with you Tanker.
