  1. I'd like to see some input from those with LE experience.  Like to know what to tell my daughter to do.
  2. This is the best article I've read about it.   http://www.tennessean.com/article/20140131/NEWS01/301310149/Drone-activity-suspicious-La-Vergne   And this is what the city of La Vergne's Facebook page says about it.   https://www.facebook.com/LaVergneTN/posts/743131935767054?stream_ref=10   Apparently it was hovering at upper floor windows. And a neighbor saw a man in a silver Corvette she thought was flying it and asked him if he was with Google Earth. He said no he was doing roof inspections. The Corvette had Florida tags. Something smells.
  3. Just read this, found it interesting.   http://wgnsradio.com/drones-make-their-way-to-la-vergne-neighborhoods-cms-17942   "inspecting roofs, possibly for future solicitation."?
  4. Welcome to the site. Lascassas is a great place. In the country but close to the "Boro" (for whatever that's worth).
  5. Just saw this on Facebook. Great job Michael!!
  6. Ain't seen a flake in the Boro.
  7. Cuffed, stuffed, night in jail, bail money, lawyer fees, day in court, court costs, and you WILL not get your gun back.   If you get a good judge, probation or retirement of charges, $130.00 to get records expunged.    Been there, done that, got the shirt.   Because I let mine expire. Got it renewed ASAP.   Get a HCP and carry on.
  8. 50 years ago, before smoke alarms, my sister used to put firecrackers on the top ledge of her door facings in the house. Better than nothing.
  9. All I can say. . .   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3V0VTlrCzW8
  10. Welcome from right in the middle of Tennessee!
  11. I have had two Taurus semi autos and three Taurus revolvers. I had problems with one semi auto and two revolvers.  But the semi auto I had no problems with was a PT 92. After around 1000 rounds the slide failed to lock back after the last round. One time.  Other than that it has been perfect. No FTE, no FTF.  Having said that I now have a Glock 19 as a house gun. Lighter and I like the trigger better. And a Bersa Thunder 380 as a carry gun.
  12. Just saw this on Facebook.   https://www.facebook.com/RCBN1/posts/472430599527938
  13. The guy has a serious ID-ten-T problem. And the sad thing is people voted him into office!
  14. I have a police frequency scanner. Around here when an officer calls in a DL number the dispatch tells him about your HCP. Valid, suspended, revoked or expired.  Same info as your DL.
  15. OK, here's the report from Channel 5 news.    http://www.newschannel5.com/story/24492882/authorities-search-for-men-who-robbed-memphis-mall   It says they used sledgehammers but according to the report no weapons were seen. What do they think a sledgehammer is? No weapons were seen because there were no firearms seen!
