  1. Not even slightly gun related, but I need to vent. My girlfriend mentioned  something about her windshield washer fluid not spraying properly. Figuring it was just clogged with a tiny piece of debris, I tried using a needle and compressed air to blow any debris out of the washer nozzle. Neither helped at all. I then attempted to remove the rubber hose to make sure there was adequate fluid pressure to that point. Well, wouldn't you know, as I was attempting to remove the hose, part of the plastic nozzle broke off, getting stuck in the hose. No biggie, right? I mean, how expensive can a cheap ol' plastic washer nozzle be? Because it's a dealer part, I'm thinking they've turned a $3 part into $10 or $15. Ha! The dealers were already closed, so I started looking online. Average price for this cheaply made POS is $30-$35, not including shipping. Are you effing kidding me? On the same websites, you can buy the whole damn pump for about $40.  :stunned:  Ugh!
  2. If you ever see NotYourWiFi pop up on your device, you're close to my crib.

  4. I think she's dialed it down a notch or two since she first became infamous. Not that I've kept up with her.
  5. I believe the possibility of a five year sentence was in reference to someone else involved. They share the same last name, so I assume they are related.
  6. I went with a Kydex from Leatherneck Tactical in Murfreesboro. I love it.
  7. Brian Manookian is listed as a "founder" on the Nashville Armory website. He's also a local attorney in Nashville. The release states he faces up to one year in prison when sentenced in June. I wonder how that would affect his partnership with Nashville Armory, not to mention his career as an attorney. http://www.justice.gov/usao/tnm/pressReleases/2015/2015_03_11.html
  8. Authorities may have finally found at least one person responsible for this theft. Seems they just busted a guy in Kentucky with 5 stolen barrels of Wild Turkey in his back yard. Strangely enough, he works at the Buffalo Trace distillery where Pappy Van Winkle is made.   To make things even more interesting, he had about 25 guns, a couple suppressors, and a bunch of steroids. This dude was ready to party.    http://www.wlky.com/news/tips-lead-to-5-barrels-of-stolen-wild-turkey-bourbon/31756286
  9. This is not just any flooring from China. This is flooring that Lumber Liquidators has been having made specifically for themselves. The very same plants can and do manufacture flooring that meets our standards, but Lumber Liquidators opted to worry more about profits. I've been in the flooring business for the last 12 years. There's no shortage of quality flooring being produced in China, and there's no shortage of crappy flooring being produced right here in the United States.

  11. The ATF has decided to put the ammo ban on the back burner, for the time being... http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/03/10/atf-shelves-controversial-bullet-ban-proposal/
  12. Cherokee Slim has taken the press. The magazines are still available.
  13. The YouTube videos make it look fairly easy.  :x:  I've talked to a few non-professionals who've all done it without any issues. The thing is, being that it's inside the lens, rather than on the sensor, you may never notice it negatively affect your images. Knowing it's there will probably bother you more than it will affect image quality.
  14. Looks like you may need to take it apart and clean it.
  15. Didn't think these would last this long.
  16. EXCLUSIVE: Common AR-15 Green Tip Ammunition Already Banned in New ATF Regulation Guide   On Friday February 13 at 4:00 pm, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms released a proposal to ban commonly used M855 "green tip" AR-15 ammunition under the guise of law enforcement safety. The same day the proposal was released, on a Friday of a three day holiday weekend, ATF opened up a shortened 30-day period for the public to submit comments about the new regulation.  But it turns out, ATF has been working on a ban of AR-15 "green-tip" ammunition for quite some time and has already issued the ban in its new, 2014 Regulation Guide. For reference, ATF Regulation Guides come out approximately every ten years.    When you take a look at the 2005 ATF Regulation Guide, you'll see an exemption for AR-15 "green-tip" ammunition, which means it exempted from the definition of "armor piercing" and therefore is legal on the federal level.    Read/See more: http://m.townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2015/03/06/exclusive-atf-has-already-banned-common-at15-green-tip-ammunition-n1966761
