That's rough. I drive 8-10 hours a day, so I've had my fair share of run-ins with animals. It always sucks, no matter what kind of animal.

I don't know anything about that, so I'd take your advice if I were Brent.

A friend of mine purchased his barrel, bolt, magazines, and maybe a few other parts from Satern. He's pleased with them. I think he said it was about $500 for the barrel bolt and mags.

I mentioned this in my 'My TGO 300 Blackout AR Pistol Build' thread, but thought I'd share it where more folks are likely to see it. I hadn't heard of them before I started looking for parts for this 300 BLK build, but I decided to go ahead and give them a shot. Based on my limited interaction with the company, I'm guessing it's a fairly small operation. They don't have a huge selection. I ordered the fluted pistol buffer tube. Prior to the purchase, I had a few questions. All were answered in a timely manner. Shipping was fast; three days from order to delivery. Their website said they were running behind on shipping, so this was a pleasant surprise. The item was packaged very well, and the item was exactly what I had expected. While I haven't attached it to anything yet, the tube appears to be very good quality. Looks awesome, in my humble opinion. I noticed they had mistakenly sent me the buffer, buffer spring and end plate. I didn't order these, nor was my credit card charged for them. I didn't feel right keeping them without being charged, so I immediately called to let them know what happened. I was thanked for being honest, and told to keep them at no charge. Even if I was asked to pay for them, my review would have been just as complementary. MAS Defense has turned a first-time buyer into a repeat customer. MAS Defense

I'm going. I met someone who's not all that familiar with firearms, so we are going to head out there to give him some ideas about his future AR build.

Is there a resident chihuahua expert here?

It's fairly common to see this happen around 2 or 3 years of age. -

My TGO 300 Blackout AR Pistol Build
TripleDigitRide replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in Show and Tell
This is my first time buying from MAS Defense, and they just gained a repeat customer. Not only did they tell me to keep the buffer, buffer spring and end plate, but the whole experience was great. Check them out. -
My TGO 300 Blackout AR Pistol Build
TripleDigitRide replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in Show and Tell
Just received the MAS Defense fluted pistol buffer tube. I added the foam tube. Unless they were running a sale that I didn't know about, they mistakenly sent me the buffer, chrome silicone buffer spring and end plate, too. They sent me the kit, and I ordered only the tube. They only charged me for the tube, so I'll call and see how they want to handle it. I obviously haven't installed it, but it appears to be very good quality. Not that these tubes have a habit of breaking, but I like the beefier "shoulder". It looks better, and adds strength. -
Football team loses 91-0 and sues for being bullied
TripleDigitRide replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in General Chat
This is asinine. Not to mention, somewhat makes light of those who are truly being bullied. -
Short of her removal, which isn't very likely, what are possible punishments? I'm guess little more than a slap on the hand.

What he said. It's like all these BS "polls" we hear about every day. If I know the question and the network conducting the poll, I can correctly guess the results nearly 100% of the time. Everything is slanted. All of them are full of crap, and the sheeple on both sides eat it up and regurgitate it, as if it's some sort of gospel. Ever had a friend or family member involved in an unhealthy situation or relationship but couldn't see things as clearly as you, because you had the luxury of being on the outside looking in? The same things applies to much of the BS we're fed by our own government and media. While everyone has an ax to grind, I believe we're more likely to get something more closely resembling reality from BBC, Al Jazeera, and the like.

I would have had to tell him it was also a fake. -
