  1. Both of them are nice.  I think the five is a little thicker maybe?  The Laser Strike is one that would be cool too if for nothing more then the blade shape.
  2. That looks like a great knife!  I've been looking at the 5 for a while now.
  3. For skeet and trap it would be awful.  Those are different style then shooting at jugs and things not moving.  Not saying you couldn't do it, but it wouldn't help.
  4. I really don't see what the big deal is?   Nothing a little Krylon can't fix.
  5. Now that's a solution.
  6. That will last until they get sued for it jamming a trigger in place.
  7. I carry all the time or have one at least within arms reach at all times.
  8. i don't think anything good comes of bored engineering students.
  9. Compared to the blue, the orange isn't that bad.
  10. Lol.  I got what you were trying to say.  It does seem like a really neat concept.   Work as advertised?
  11. What is your initial reaction to it?
  12. I'm well aware of the fact they have sights.  They make railed top covers for them to mount red dots on top, hence my question of this sight.  Seems like it could make a nice red dot substitute.
  13. I'm wondering how well this would hold up on an Uzi?
  14. That looks different, I'm interested to see what people say about it.
  15. Those parts sat in the bay for a while.  Tell me that tech or techs didn't wonder at some point why they were sitting there.
  16. Original Special Operations Equipment and High Speed Gear Inc. SOE is out of Camden, TN and HSGI is out of NC somewhere. So with one you would be supporting a TN business. They don't make plate carriers but HSGI does I believe, one or two models.
  17. That's a sweet knife.
  18. Why not SOE or HSGI at that point?   (Or other similar makers.)
  19. When it comes to my truck I do all the work but when the valves and everything have to be pulled that's something I leave to the dealer.
  20. For the money I think they're fine.  Having said that I've destroyed some of their products from very minor use.   Guess the better question is what item(s) are you considering so that there might be some comments on that particular piece.
  21. Any issue with paying in full via Paypal around next week or around that time frame?  I'm waiting to a couple checks to get to me before I send money in for the knife.
  22. I deal with customers everyday as well. Am I out for blood? No. I really don't care that nothing has come of this. What I'm getting at is that I find it disappointing that the tech missed putting a fairly critical piece of the engine back in during the reassembly of the engine. It could be a one time deal, but the service department should review it anyway to see what caused the problem and what steps can be taken in the future to avoid similar problems.
  23. I've been directed to an independent shop that I'm going to go to from now on.  Guess there really isn't much I can do at this point to check it past having to have everything torn down and cleaned out.
  24. Yeah I tried that and got the "Oh it's fine."  So I called corporate to complain about the service and the dealer's lack of uh, ability?  Maybe their awful techs that misplace entire housings.
