  1. I always wanted to vaporize a deer in a single shot.    Seriously though, why?
  2. They've had those things out for years, I used to put one out just to watch my birds go berserk when it wouldn't stop making the same noise and then jump on it to knock it off whatever it was on.
  3. Looks like the bear is more intent on eating the fat redheaded guy.
  4. I like in the comments there is a guy who calls BS because he says a 5.45 round couldn't stop a bear.
  5. Land manager/general hand on a ranch Retail sales Government sales tank mechanic construction   I like the sales.  One day you're in a store the next I'm out talking to private security, police, or military.  Working on a tank is also pretty fun too.
  6. Agreed on all regards.  I like the dual magazine pouches and their size because I can fit a Galaxy phone in one.  I don't like reaching halfway down my leg for my wallet.
  7. Personally I like Woolrich a lot better then 5.11.  The 5.11 quality I think has dropped a tad in the past year or so.  Having said that though I own many pairs of 5.11, Propper, and Tru Spec.
  8. Bright light will hurt your night vision, not anything that I'm aware that you can do to train yourself to not be affected. Put a red filter on? Maybe go pirate style and close an eye lol.
  9. Got a box of .22 Federal tonight after a guy wanted me to buy it for him. I laughed when he asked and said thanks for letting me know then went and bought some.
  10. I think that if you own and carry a gun that you should, even if you cannot make it to the range, at least practice your draw and reloads. At the same time I see comparing the 92 to the G19 like comparing apples to oranges. One is what I would call full frame and the other is more compact.
  11. Ow, ow, ow, ow...
  12. I also have an issue with the logic that since you don't have enough time to practice with at gun that does have a safety that somehow you will be just as prepared with one that doesn't even with less practice.  It shouldn't matter what you have in terms of how much you practice.
  13. I think that if you train with what you carry there shouldn't be an issue with it.  I certainly would not go out and buy a Glock due to the lack of external safety and the logic that only a gun without an external safety is the only thing to carry.  I will however agree that for concealment purposes that the G19 is the better choice taking into account it is the smaller of the two.
  14. I would disagree if purely just to argue with your blanket statement.
  15. The insides are kinda nasty.
  16. I carry some Surefire Earpros in my pocket everyday.
  17. PM sent.  Thanks for the heads up.
  18. Looks like it should be some pretty good shooting this year.
  19. I know overall length has to be 26"   However I've seen some people refer to that as the stock fully extended length.  Does anyone have a definite word of law or letter from the ATF to confirm one way or the other?
  20. Bayonet.  My house is far too small for a rifle.  Just wait and jab.   Handgun though, M9 for reason stated above, the house is tiny.
  21. I didn't think about the S but the exhaust does route right under where the spare for mine is.
  22. Proof I should just move to Alaska.
  23. Sure about that? I have a spare in mine.
  24. You should have.
