  1. I had bought a small Sebenza off a guy a couple weeks ago but it wasn't in as good of shape as it looked in the pics so I returned it. I decided to buy a couple other knives I had been wanting instead of just the Sebenza. I had already got the camo/black Spyderco PM2 and liked it so much I hunted down a black/satin to go with it. I think I'm going to get a set of scales made for the black one. I'd been wanting a Benchmade mini grip so I got the black 556. Great carry knife so I decided to try the 555HG. I LOVE the sheepsfoot blade on the thing. So, of course, now I want the fullsize 550 griptilian or maybe a Rift. Stupid knives....they're mulitplying like rabbits around here.
  2. Beautiful work. I love the finish on the blade. The scales look great too. I really like it.
  3. Looks great!!
  4. I'm still impatiently waiting on my small to show up. I figured I'd probably carry it more than the large. I still want to get a large one though LOL.   A little off topic but I was able to find a new camo/black Paramilitary 2 this morning and I didn't get reamed on the price.
  5. Congrats!
  6. I managed to find a small Sebenza at a really good price, plain in carried but unused cond. Thanks for the encouragement LOL!
  7. Thanks!
  8. Thanks Il Duce. If it's the one I'm thinking about it sold. I believe it was an Insingo. I'm going to keep checking for one on BF before I order a new one.
  9. I love the looks of it. I'm having a hard time deciding on which size. I like the large but would probably carry/use the small more.
  10. Don't mean to threadjack but since you two are at fault for me considering spending this much damn money on a knife I thought I'd get your opinions on this one. Tumbled with micarta inlay.
  11. You two are about to cost me some money.
  12. The cocobolo inlay is a beauty but I've always liked the plain Sebenzas better. You won't go wrong with either.
  13. Got the sheath today so the Candiru is ready for the belt. Now on to the next thing I waste money on.
  14. Ordered....Thanks David!
  15. See if you can find a Blackhawk Speed Classic J Frame to try out. I know it will fit the Poly 85. It's not a paddle though.
  16. You have a certain length or blade style you're looking for Ben? I've got several Spyderco and a couple Zero Tolerance and love them. They're not $300 knives though. I've been trying to find a Paramilitary2 for a couple months now. Nobody has them in stock and the ones I do find are $50+ overpriced. The Emerson and Benchmade are both great knives too.
  17. I agree. Both of mine are 0350s, the 0300 was a little too big. I'm going to check out the new 0566 when it gets released.
  18. Congrats! I love mine.
  19. Very nice setup! That's gotta be one of the nicest 10/22s I've seen.
  20. I stocked up the first part of Dec on most everything. I'm starting to run a little low on .45 ammo for the range though.
  21. From what I've read they're the same. I've not tried them on zombies though.........yet. :D
  22. Going by the pics they look too dark to be foliage.
  23. Got the handles for the Candiru and man did they make a big improvement. The knife feels a lot more usable with them. The kydex sheath should be here in about a week.
  24. Wish I had some good advise to give you but I don't. With the lack of places to shoot around the Morristown area, I think it could work. I'd love to have someplace closer than Bubbling Springs. I think limiting the number of members would be the way to go, especially starting out. $200/year might keep some people from even being interested though. That could be a good thing or could be a bad thing. If you do move forward with it I'd definitely be interested in being a member. If there's anything I could do to help just let me know.
  25. Thanks for the link. Might have to get a couple of those to try.
