  1. My 0350 showed up today. I really like it, the stonewash finish looks great. I'm gonna go ahead and order the tiger stripe this evening.
  2. Glad to help LOL. He's great to buy from and ships FAST. I'm still thinking about getting a TS serrated from him.
  3. I do have what I need to sharpen a serrated blade. Unfortunately I suck at it. I suck at knife sharpening period. They're lucky to be able to slice through air when I'm finished with them.
  4. Stonewash plain edge is on the way. I found some factory blems for $85 shipped and am having a hard time not ordering the TS serrated too.
  5. Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going with the stonewash now and maybe pickup a serrated later.
  6. It'll be an EDC. I don't really need another serrated but I do like them. The stonewash isn't available with a serrated edge (too bad), only black and the TS. Yea David, I've seen the all black and tiger stripe for $115, the stone wash is $105.
  7. I'm getting ready to order a ZT0350 but can't decide between the Stonewash plain edge or the Tiger Stripe serrated. I really like the look of the SW but the TS is different and I'm a bit of a sucker for a serrated blade. Give me some opinions folks, what do you think??
  8. Garrett Industries make a nice leather lined kydex holster. I've got a kydex OWB from Spartan Village for an XD40sc that I love. I also have 2, an OWB and slimline IWB, for my M&P 9 from Crossfire Holsters. Randy does good work and his prices are hard to beat. Raven Concealment makes a very nice kydex holster too.   http://www.ravenconcealment.com/   http://garrettindustries.mybigcommerce.com/   http://www.spartan-village.com/about.html   http://crossfireholsters.com/
  9. I use an Old Faithful with my Springfield XD40sc, great holster. The stage 3 kit takes 5 min. to put together. You can usually find a coupon code for them too.   I like full leather for 1911's. I've got IWBs from Occidental Leather and Winthrop Holsters with a Milt Sparks VM 2 on order.
  10. 1911, Android phone and tablet.
  11. I use a LaserLyte Tri-Rail on mine. My light is mounted in a cantilever scope mount. I'm just using the push button switch for momentary on/off, I've been meaning to pick up a pressure switch to try but haven't got around to it.
  12. I have a gas block height Midwest Industries that I really like. I also use a Magpul MBUS (I already had a set) with a Yankee Hill gas block riser.
  13. How big was the crowd today? I'm thinking about going tomorrow just to have something to do.
  14. I like the new look. Thanks to all that have been working on it.
  15. Leather/shark skin trim from UBG Bianchi Carrylok
  16. I bought an M&P 22 the other day. Man, I had no clue magazines were so hard to find for these things. Everybody local is out. Anybody know of any shops that has them? Online, 44mag shows them in stock but I hate to pay their price. Might have to though to get any right now.
  17. I got a couple gift certificates from Midway. I did give a gift that was honored with the prestigious Best Christmas Present Ever Award. The smile was the best gift I could ask for.
  18. I haven't been to this one. Going to try to come up Sat.
  19. I've never been a Glock guy. I don't hate them, just never liked them enough to buy one. Recently a friend of mine brought a few of his to the range for me to waste some ammo with. This was the most time I've got to spend shooting Glocks. Wasn't crazy about the subs (26, 27), I still like my XDsc better. His 17 & 22 were both great guns. It took a few mags but I started to really like the 19. He has a Gen 3 & Gen 4, I liked the 3 better. I'm wanting to get another 9mm for CCing and I think I'm going to add the 19 to the list.
  20. Glad to hear you're getting back in to playing. I've been at it way too long and own way too many guitars to be no better than I am but I love playing. Helps keep me semi sane.
  21. Nice job! I really like the shape.
  22. I've got an XD40sc and love it. Stock trigger could be better but that's easily fixed. I put Pearce grip extentions and PRP x-treme grips (tape) and it made a big difference in feel. I carry mine in either a leather/kydex IWB or a Spartan Village kydex OWB. OS is right about them being on the chunky side. It's not a featherweight but I don't think it's heavy either. Pretty accurate for a 3" and has ran good with any ammo I've put through it.
  23. The WalMart here has been out of .22lr and 9mm for the past month, .223 for almost 2 months.
  24. PM on the way. Thanks CZ, hope you and yours have a great Christmas!!
  25. Thanks much!!
