I'd ordered a set of Talon grips to put on the 17 before I decided to Duracoat it. I just put the Talons on and they looked like ass on the painted frame. Going to try and Duracoat them. I'm curious how it'll hold up on the grip tape. Edit: Sprayed the Talons and put them on. Still need to hit them with some heat. I'll have to wait and see how they wear.

The "C" in 17C stands for colossal.

I ran across a good deal on a Glock 17C the other day. I really didn't want another all black Glock so I ordered a Duracoat aerosol kit to try. Went with Blackhawk Coyote Tan. Took my time prepping with the Trustrip and started spraying. Turned out pretty good. I'm going to wait til tomorrow to put it back together. The AR in the background could possibly be my next test subject.

A friend of mine has a 75 B with the Omega trigger. That gun is a shooter, very accurate even with me behind it.

Very nice! I bought my 1st CZ a few weeks ago.

Had another one from Garrett show up today. I got the Silent Thunder GT IWB for the CZ 75 PCR I recently picked up. They use thinner kydex and mount the belt clip in a different location on the GT. Also ordered a slimline clip to try on it.

You're not being overly picky at all. If you like the P-01 base plates, well hell, that's the best reason I can think of to use them. I'll probably try them when I get around to picking up a couple more mags.

I can get enough of my pinky on the grip to not need an extension so I'm OK with them. I think the front of the base plate sticks out a little further from the grip than it needs to though.

Got the VZ's today....love the Black Cherry! I'm impatiently waiting on the Garrett Industries Silent Thunder I ordered for it to show up.

Went ahead and ordered the Black Cherry. I've always liked that color on a black frame.

I'm going to try and head that way in the morning.

Looking for opinions again. I just got a CZ 75D PCR and want to put a set of VZ's on it. Most all my other G10 grips are gray and black but I'd like something different on this one. I've narrowed it down to the Frags in either Hyena Brown or Black Cherry. Found a couple pics of both grips on a compact. So what's your Choice? I think I like the BC better but that could change a few beers from now. Hyena Brown Black Cherry

I've got both. My 10/22 has had waaaaay too much money spent on aftermarket parts but it's fun to shoot and I've never had a problem of any kind with it. My American is more accurate though. I bought the compact and I'm amazed how well the thing shoots. Can't go wrong with either one at the end of the day.

Wanted to see if anyone had bought one of these and what you thought about it. They have them back in stock and I'm thinkin' I need one.

I've got leather and kydex pocket holsters but most of the time I use a cheapo Uncle Mikes in the right (strong side) front pocket.

I've bought 3 guns at Buds since they opened. I got all 3 cheaper in store than they were from Buds online. Yea I had to pay tax but I'm OK with it. Not enough difference between sales tax vs. transfer for it to matter to me.

I recently got a Silent Thunder STX 2.0 from Garrett Industries. It's kydex lined with leather. I've not had an OWB holster that conceals as good as the STX does. It's comfortable, rides really close to the body and has adjustable retention.   http://www.giholsters.com/silent-thunder-stx-2-0/
