I've bought and shot plenty of Blazer Brass in the last month. I agree the bullets and casings themselves aren't as neat and shiny as say, WWB, but I've never had any issues with Blazer going bang every time. As for the blame, I think you have to blame the Taurus for being ammo sensitive, not the ammo itself as it DID function in your other guns.

Yeah, I don't see how anything else could have come after all negative press they've had in the past 2yrs. They've had their fair share of "incidents", but it's hard not to when you're operating in a freaking warzone. It's very en vogue for the media to attack any person or organization turning a healthy profit.

I've been kicking myself ever since I traded my MAK-90 a few years ago... Anywho, I too want another one now. Basically, I think I look at it in somewhat the same light as, "why buy a glock?". It's simple, effective, and built like a tank. I would go with one in 7.62, the AR is already serving the role of firing light and fast cartridges.

Those are Austrian proof marks, and the import marks are on the underside of the trigger guard. Apparently they've been showing up lately. Supposedly they were manufactured in 06, and have been sitting in a warehouse somewhere since then, before they got imported. Doesn't add any value, but does have some cool factor!

I figured it'd be a good idea to have a generic "movie thread" where we can suggest movies to each other. So, I'll start: I watched "Rise of the Footsoldier" tonight. It was a great flick. I always like British gangster movies, but this wasn't what I was used to of that genre (Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels). It's based on a true story about one mans life as he grows from a soccer hooligan, to a bouncer, to a major player in London's underworld. I highly recommend it. Here's the trailer:
