Anyone ever seen Magpul's "Art of the Tactical Carbine" series? Not to say a DVD is in any way shape or form a substitute for live fire training, but I've heard good things about it. It retails around $35-40 for the 3 DVD set, and from the preview on youtube, it looks like it actually has decent production value.

I'm about 60 pages away from finishing "Lone Survivor", if you're not familiar w/ the story: Lone Survivor. I'd also recommend "Generation Kill", and while I haven't read it yet, I hear "Blood Makes the Grass Grow Green" is a pretty good read.
