Supposedly they figured out this was linked to fake online reviews. Example: Send out 1,000 packages and then wrote 1,000 fake, positive reviews for “actual product”. Seeds have weight and volume and are nearly free.

I wonder if my default anyone “in line” but then leaves get treated as a positive for a safety precaution?

So I received mine about a week ago. It is surprisingly bright and has very decent throw for a keychain light. I've used mine quite a few times at work. The one thing I don't like is having to pull my keys out to use it. I work IT and having to look under desks, behind cabinets, etc etc and etc, I'm worried about walking off and leaving my keys somewhere. The plus to that is I won't go home without the light, but I may very well not go home at all. Kicking around the idea of either a quick detach system or something to put it on my belt.

I've carried a SOG Twitch II before and really liked it for something small but easy to open. It includes a lock.

At those prices, you could actually buy one of each and have $40.00 nearly leftover.

Agreed. To further this point, if you have never owned an Alox SAK, you have been missing out. Depending on which size, a Pioneer or Cadet would potentially be perfect.

Yet another letter to the ATF...

I agree wholeheartedly. Including but not limited to whether or not one shot per trigger pill = machine gun. I know I’ll never change your opinion. :D -
Is 1/100 = .01%?

Regardless, it does just use a micro-usb connection, I’d be surprised if anyone doesn’t already have one.
-
Yeah. I guess the deal is over. It was one of their daily deal things.

Alright, you got me. Buying one now. A buddy has been hyping Olight to me recently so this is the perfect chance to try one. $14.95 on Amazon, by the way. A separate listing has a limited time deal that includes an Olight branded Micro-USB cable for a mere $0.30 more, so why not. This is the one I'm getting.

Simple Answer: Enough -
No coffee yet. I read that without the decimal and thought “45-47 miles? Dude, that’s not fishing that’s hiking with a small break in the middle”.

Knives, axes, cutlery, sharp stuff

Sodbuster. Still have the one my father gave me 15 or so years ago. An awesome classic knife. -
Lmao. I agree with that statement for most things in life. Guns. Tools. Knives. Electronics. In a few areas...I’m still learning.

Moved this thread to a separate section of the site. Seems to fit better here. Also, here is my current EDC: -
I forget the model but from my recollection a cheaper of the commercial Stihl products. It all winds on a spindle just like any other weed-water I’ve used.

So I have always just bought whatever cheap string at whatever store I’m at when I buy it. But recently I decided to do some research and find a high quality string. I decide to purchase a small package of Oregon Magnum Gatorline. This stuff is square instead of round and it has an internal filament. Let me say, I’m very impressed! It makes sense to have sharp edges (four of them) rather than round string. The internal filament supposedly adds to the strength. Let me just say, I just tried it for the first time today. Let me forewarn that weed-eating is never fun but this string is worth it and I was excited to try it today. I was able to chop through much larger weeds much easier than the misc cheap stuff. However, it also eats through decking lattice and also throws rocks with much more force. I weed-eat a lot of area with gravel and the string lasts longer in those areas as well as, like I previously mentioned, throws stones with more force. The cheap stuff seemed to disintegrate very quickly in those areas. I will likely be buying a 685’ spoil of it next time around. Just curious if anyone else is a fan or if you have any other string to recommend.
