  1. The PC Police has caught up with us.
  2. What a blade...I like everything about it.
  3. Some people find all the cool stuff....
  4. That's impressive....looks like you have a lot of goods times ahead of you.
  5. Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....
  6. A change in the weather is all the left leaning news outlets need to deflect everything away from "their" candidate.
  7. Thanks for the kind words men. I do what I do cause I enjoy it and the missus says it shows in the blades I produce. They are never perfect. pristine or whatever other adjective of that nature. But most have a certain look, feel and above all are functional. When you look at most of my blades for the most part you don't have a fear of using it cause it looks like it's be used for years already. And Red...be careful cause yes...that damn thing is sharp.
  8. Many years ago I used to always think if anyone knew what they are doing it was the Police. Today I'm not so sure. On the other hand they have to be among the most underpaid professions on the planet and are being targeted buy loonies and people making excuses for their own ineptitude to be decent human beings and abide by the law. Thank goodness we have a lot of fine folks in uniform for it's a job I could never do without getting into trouble. I do hope if I ever get stopped by the police while armed I get one of the level headed ones.
  9. Yes sir...good as new. Thanks boss.
  10. I sold this item today and the little box that you indicate if something is sold, for sale, for trade and so on wasn't in the post anymore so I was unable to mark it as sold. The box has been there in the past but now it's gone. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/97675-a-nice-little-hunter-looking-for-a-homesold-sold-sold/?do=edit Not sure if when doing the updates it got lost in the mail or what but it's just not there. I've also noticed when viewing new posts the Green box that usually has "For Sale" in it now only says "For". Something is rotten in Denmark.
  11. Talk about having a bad day.....looks like it exploded.
  12. Both are made from 1095 and 15N20 steels so yes they will rust but a good wipe down with a coat of oil should prevent that. Both are 3/16" stock. First has Suriname Ironwood scales with mosaic pins. It has a blade length of about 6 3/8" with an OAL of 11 5/8". It has a subtle yet beautiful twist pattern, thumb jimping and nice filework on the spine and a lanyard hole. Next has a blade length of about 6 3/8" and an OAL of 11". It has thumb jimping and file work on the spine with SS pins and Wenge scales. It also has a lanyard hole. The Damascus is bold with this twist pattern.
  13. I spent 26 years in the military then ran my own business for nearly 20 more so after a quad bypass I was ready to take it down a notch. But my hobby could easily develop into a business but I'm not about to get into that rat race ever again. Good luck getting adjusted to your new life and whatever you do...make sure you enjoy it for all it's worth.
  14. Welcome to TGO. I've adapted to retirement quite well. If you don't have a hobby then get one...something that peaks your interest and avoid the wife's honeydew list at all costs.
  15. I'll bet they are considering even more disgusting stuff than that. It just hasn't been leaked yet.
  16. After all the hell you've been through lately you should get that and maybe something else...just sayin'.
  17. Your Obama Administration at work. I don't believe for a second that dipstick didn't know about it and gave his blessing.
  18. They did one heck of a job...congratulations. Now that makes a Glock actually interesting.
  19. Welcome to TGO.
  20. A rear Tennessee treasure. RIP.
  21. Welcome to TGO.
  22. Well if you're talking about a breakdown in society I'm going with a 16" barreled AR with lots and lots of mags. May as well put the evil black "assault rifle" through it's paces.
  23. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/06/24/hawaii-becomes-first-state-to-put-gun-owners-in-federal-database.html?intcmp=hpbt3 Hawaii signed a bill Thursday to become the first state to enter gun owners into an FBI database that will automatically notify police if an island resident is arrested anywhere else in the country. Gov. David Ige said in a statement that the legislation is about community safety and responsible gun ownership. He said it will help law enforcement agencies protect Hawaii residents and visitors. State Sen. Will Espero, who introduced the bill, and the Honolulu Police Department said the measure could serve as a model for other states. However, critics believe gun owners shouldn’t have to be entered in a database to practice a constitutional right. Most people entered in the program, known as the “Rap Back” database, are in “positions of trust,” such as school teachers and bus drivers Stephen Fischer of the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division said in May. Hawaii is the first to add gun owners. Supporters say the law would make Hawaii a leader in safe gun laws. Allison Anderman, a staff attorney at the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, said the bill was "groundbreaking," and that she hadn't heard of other states introducing similar measures. Yet others say gun owners shouldn't have to be entered in a database to practice a constitutional right. "I don't like the idea of us being entered into a database. It basically tells us that they know where the guns are, they can go grab them" Jerry Ilo, a firearm and hunting instructor for the state, told the Associated Press last month. "We get the feeling that Big Brother is watching us." Read more.
  24. Agreed....they should also never cheat on their taxes, never speed and respect their elders. We all know how that goes. It's also why most people think the 2nd Amendment is useless, outdated and the police and federal government will always care and protect them. We are so freakin' screwed seven ways from Sunday it isn't even funny.
