  1. Not when I first got her, but don't tell her that lol. I'm a good cook so plenty of oversight and help over the years she does a good job now but she tries to rush things sometimes which don't work.
  2. The day she bought her carry gun I guess I didn't help either lol. Took her to Frontier and bought range time and told them to let her shoot any she wanted of the loaners and then told her here's the debit card pick what you want including upgraded grips (since she liked a revolver) and a holster.
  3. Stopped in Cleveland at Dunham's Saturday, wife walked up to the counter and asked if I seen any I wanted. And a few minutes later she asked again, then after I was walking away she asked if I was sure I didn't see any. I can count at least six guns I've purchased due to saying, hey look at that and getting the response to buy it if I wanted it. I mentioned to her about seeing a Mosin at Buds that was nice but I already had one and she told me I should have bought it. Please help me, my wife is feeding my addiction lol!
  4. Unfortunately my wife is the other way around, I can't take her into a gun store.   Went into Dunham's in Clevland yesterday to look around and she kept asking me if I seen any I wanted to buy!   :ugh:   I can count at least four guns that I bought just because of her saying go ahead if that's what you want when I might have said maybe not to.   Btw I do love my P95 it is heavy and large but its a wonderful home defense gun that I known will go bang.
  5. Some built his for 500 even with all magpul upgrades. My latest was around $640 but it's a bit more different so it's parts were more.
  6. Got that right, my training to drop any mag that is empty (locked back) or malfunctions is so set it id have a pile of 1 round mags also. Plus what good is having to drop the bolt twice or having to remember to. I suspect it would cause more danger due to the habit of dropping the bolt for a extra round happening on a normal style empty mag and getting click and having to process why instead of just bolt back equals change mag.
  7. I used the no Mar plastic version of that block and did two recently. Pushed in the forward assist and inserted a smaller diameter pin (Harbor freight kit) that slid right in from the bottom to hold it in place, put in the block and tapped in the pin from the top till the slave pin hit the block remove slave and finish. Even my son did one that way last week.
  8. None under prime shipping only postal service from a second party.
  9. I'm doing father son AR builds for me and my step son and USPS lost our shipment with the one last peice we needed which is the two charging handles. He wants to finish them and take them out shooting while I'm off later this week but who knows if or when they will arrive so I need a local store that I can get two at in East Tennessee, I'm in Sweetwater but I can travel North or South if needed. Thanks
  10. Air in the system, park it up hill with the cap loose for a few hours.

    Anti seize

I lube with red high temp wheel bearing grease. But on my AR's the barrel and flash hider get Aeroshell which can be ordered for 99 cents a jar with free shipping out of Georgia for enough for twenty builds.
  12. It arrived today, beat up as all crap but thankfully magpul has good boxes.
  13. Ordered in November before black Friday even came. Have gotten parts from three other vendors I ordered a week ago already.
  14. I was hoping so too but it's been two weeks as of tomorrow with their "priority" mail. I can get stuff from China in one. I bought two uppers from PA early in the year and it was here in three days so I'm hoping this is a fluke or somebody at USPS has a AR with nice new and shiny FDE Magpul plastics and a red dot which were my sons Christmas presents.
  15. Not to mention the m44 has the built in bayonet to finish them off and gut them. Like the others said, better be sure of what down range that round takes a bit of resistance to stop it.
  16. Ordered a few parts for my sons rifle as a Christmas gift two weeks ago. I got a email with a tracking number saying the 2 day priority label was made but it's sat that way for two weeks now. I talked to them Monday and was told it's coming and to wait a few more days.
  17. Have you did any testing on a 10.5" barrel 5.56 setup? I've been looking at the flash cans, but muzzle movement means more to me than noise.
  18. And if your a smoker (I'm not) it could "accidentally" be more fun.
  19. You'll run out of Internet speed capacity on that setup before you even get to 30% max speed on cat5. In simple terms your feeding a 36" pipe (your network) with a garden hose.
  20. Back the trigger and hammer pins out a bit and use a set of micrometers to compare the hole and pin diameter of both. There's a good chance it's just enough out of spec but id still compare all four of the holes on both lowers for shits.
  21. I forgot to mention the Anderson Mfg stripped lowers for $119 I just bought two in the past two weeks for $49 each regular price. A man could drive to buds, buy the lower, pay for gas and get a steak dinner and have money left.
  22. It helps out when your pushing it off after wearing your battery out trying unsuccessfully to help your neighbors jump off their dead ford's everyday. I had to, you left the door open for that comeback lol.
  23. Went to it last time and it was good, went today and i was wondering if I had stepped thru a time portal to two years ago. Ammo prices insanely high including $11 boxes of tula 5.56 and $14 boxes of 50 round thunderbolt 22lr. $18 pmags. One vender had boxes of knock off magpul flip up sights for $60 that I can get for $8 online. There was even a vender that accepted credit cards but all his guns had person to person sales only signs lol. Left without buying a single thing. All the good venders from last time were absent which was a loss. Some people are a special kind of stupid, one lady vender with business cards with her home address responded to someone that commented about all the ammo she had for sale that they had two rooms full at home loudly.
