  1. East Knoxville is the Ghetto.
  2. So let me see if I cam break this down Barney style. You and 2 sons alone in RV due to husbands arrest. You had loaded firearm while actively watching an intruder break in to RV. Find video of kids doing inappropriate acts. Forget all about intruder and yell something at kids then fire a shot into the RV? Now a felon for child endangerment? Why did you fire the shot? Because of your anger at the video? Either way, I highly doubt any judge will expunge that from your record, especially this soon after the incident.

    30 Super Carry

  4. Looking to add a Springfield SA-35 to the carry rotation when they become more available, and less unobtainaum. Has anyone had their hands on one yet that can give a good review? I have read and watched the reviews online but would prefer a closer to home opinion that I know isn't biased because of a kickback or status.
  5. I bought one in the $400 range. 1975 Winchester 94 with some serious finish issues and a cracked stock that I fixed up. And when I picked it up the guy said he had 30 messages about it in 12 hours. Its a hot market right now and a sellers market.
  6. Well, theres definitely more interest in all firearm types than ever before. And I think a lot of it is my age group, late 20's to early 40's. Most guys in that group have good jobs, are fairly settled, and guns are relatively cheap compared to some other hobbies. Priced a set of golf clubs lately? Or performance car parts? And by the time I hit 30, and most of my peers I know as well, we have all the tacticool we can stand so we start buying stuff that draws our attention. Old school steel, wood, high polish and engraving. Couple that with a restricted supply and prices start to sky rocket.
  7. What he said. Whiskey run off a good pot still by a distiller who knows what he is doing and is running for quality not quantity is a whole different ball game compared to the rotgut sugar head most boys are running off in their basement in a tin pot.
  8. Can confirm. Colt/Cracker Barrel is spot on and they are both my favorites.
  9. I do, but it dont like me. My preference right now is either home brewed corn whiskey or Blantons Bourbon
  10. I mean, I see a few guys in here that might have their dignity for sale... lmao
  11. I hear there is a really nice Daniel Defense DDM4V7P posted on Armslist around Nashville that would look great on your wedding night bed
  12. Damn it Chuck. Ive been hitting the mason jar since the kids went to sleep and was just getting spooled up for a good old fashioned online, keyboard warrior #### slinging.
  13. I wouldnt say that. Its just that your first post in the community was a for sale ad that violated the rules laid out by the admin here. Some of us have been here a long time, and most of us have made long term friends here. This is a really great community. I have had several members here over to my house for range days and other stuff. But a long time member here mentioned that your for sale post violated the rules that you agreed to when you signed up and you immediately turned sarcastic and defensive. Not a great way to build a good reputation as someone who is easy to get along with.
  14. Ohhh I'd say the moderators will be along to do their job any minute now.....
  15. I ended up with a new angle grinder courtesy of a spot and steal thief 2 years ago. I had my tree service truck parked beside the driveway and my 3 of my saws were locked in the saw rack on the headache rack behind the cab. He apparently showed up to cut the cable and didnt realize my Catahoula could jump onto the flatbed. I found blood in the bed and a nice dewalt grinder with a full battery. Catahoula came home the next morning with lots of blood, none of it hers. Asshole got what he deserved
  16. I was the Sgt at Arms for an MC for a few years and I stayed in a bar fight pretty much every weekend for about 2 years straight. I got my fill of it. Now Ill do everything in my power to walk away. Put me in a corner and something bad is gonna happen though.
  17. Suggested retail on the SBL is $1399. So prices are just gonna continue to climb.
  18. You are 100% correct, but I will say there are some people who basically walk around begging for an ass whipping. The fact that an altercation is almost guaranteed to send both parties to jail has had the unfortunate side effect of making people way to comfortable with being bullies and douchebags on a very regular basis with little fear of repercussions.

    Weight Loss

For me, and what Ive seen, weight loss or gain comes at the table, but fitness and physical ability comes from activity, whether it be workouts or manual labor. I run between 230 and 250. I do very little "dedicated" exercises, but both of my jobs keep me active. At the plant i average 9-10 miles a day walking at a fast pace 5 days a week and on weekends I do a lot of gaff climbing and heavy lifting, mostly on ridges and embankments for tree work. I will bulk up in the winter and slim down in the summer but Im not a heavy eater. Breakfast is normally a bottle of whole milk, skip lunch and then eat a 1800-2000 calorie supper of beans, taters, chops, and garden veggies. Always finish eating and give it 3 hours before bed time. So far its kept me healthy enough.
  20. I ended up with a Browning 1886 SRC. I thought i really wanted the 95, but you (i think it was you) were correct and the 1886 handles better. The 95 is also fancier than what im comfortable with in the woods while the browning src has a tiny bit if wear that makes it fit like a broken in boot.
  21. No, Ive stayed on the rigging line my whole time there. I have helped the process fabrication guys a few Fridays in the trailer shop but not during production
  22. I work at Malibu boats. Started out as an engine setter on the rigging line 6 years ago. I'm a team lead over Assembly 1 now, but can do any breakdown on the line, plumbing the boat, wiring harness, dash install, etc. On my "off" time I run my own tree service. We do a lot of danger close trees to houses and other valuables.
  23. Harveys Pistol and Pawn on Merchants had some night vision last time i was in there.
