  1. Cool and this is what I wanted to hear . We will save $80 a month this way . Thanks !
  2. I am about to disconnect Direct TV . We have had them for 11 yrs and they have gotten higher and higher. My questions is this : How many of you still use the television and a plain old set of rabbit ears or an antenna ? I understand you can do this if you have a newer television and not a analog one . Our TV is 16 yrs old and I was wondering if all I had to do was go buy a new TV and an antenna ? Is that it ? Out tv is so old I dont think the "converter box" thing they were giving out for free would even work .   Anyone know if a new tv and an atenna will work to get the good old channel 2,4,5, 8 , 17 and 30 that we native Tennesseans grew up with ?
  3. I like this !!!!!
  4. We have kids , that is all I have to say ! HAHAHA
  5. Well I tried the back roads too and always had to dodge deer , coyotes and opposums  and the occasional dog . Plus the occassional washed out driveway where the gravel was all in the road making a crazy slick surface .
  6. I used to ride motorcycles but todays traffic stopped me . I stopped riding in September of 2001 . I got passed on the emergency lane of a highway by a damn mininvan . I was going the posted 55 MPH but the idiot thought different . After that I said the heck with it . Plus I work a lot of nasty motorcycle crashes at work . They always come out on the losing end .
  7. NO it is plain old concrete block and not lined . I just stacked it up evenly and filled the holes with sand . The sand acts as a insulator for the heat .
  8. STOP IT NOW !!!!! I am about to sell more crap to get one !!!!! LOL . Seriously I did have a Mini in .22LR and loved it and now I am really thinking about getting one again ! Man that is the only thing you can really use the small little pocket in your blue jeans for !
  9. LOL HAHAHAHA I knew some alcohol was gonna come in there but hey that it a given factor ! HAHAHA
  10. IT has been a crappy work week . No breaks and just busy busy busy. Today my wife left for work and said to cook the chicken we had and a vegetable for supper. So here is what calms my nerves besides working on engines and cleaning guns ,,,, cooking on my homemade BBQ pit that I made myself two years ago. I seasoned up the chicken , got my burn barrel fired up with Red Oak and Hickory and cleaned off the pit . Man just being outside with my dog and watching the pit every hour or so really calms me down. I have to shovel wood coals from my burn barrel to my pit every hour but it really does me good. In about 6 hours I'll have some yummy yard bird ! Right now I'm kicked back cooking it LOW AND SLOW . I've done pigs and beef and deer and later on I'm gonna do some Goat/Mutton on there . If you guys want , Ill try and find my pork and chicken pics and post them . Ok here is the pork and chicken I did earlier this year . Chicken takes 6 hrs and pork is about 14 to 15 hrs at 220 degrees . 11. Thanks ! Thats exactly what I wanted to see. I havent ever had a Kydex type holster but I think this may be the one to get . I like the Outer Waist Band style on that one . Thanks for the pics !
  12. jimmydeuce , could you please post a picture of the back side of the last pic ? The black one .  I would really like to see the belt loop portion please.
  13. My Shield is good to go . It has a test fired date of July 2013 . But if this recall is what I think it is for,  then it should be still good if your finger is off of the trigger unless ready to fire,  then it's still good. This "may fire if dropped" thing to me sounds like it will only fire if the trigger is pulled while the lower trigger part is stuck back. This to me is a simple and not so bad thing compared to other recalls.
  14. HAHAHA thats funny and I know what you mean !
  15. Just got my Pro Carry Belt Ride holster from The Holster Store. It was only $24.95 and is made tough from %100 cow leather . I have two of these already and they are great and simple. This thing is nice and can be used strong handed or for cross-draw like I like to do sometimes. Since the Shield is still kinda new and not a lot of holsters out there for it I figured I would let you guys know about this. I love it . You cant beat the price and the strong leather .I have bought from them twice and they are nice and made in USA . Here it is . 16. The most reliable and toughest car I ever had was my 1989 Toyota Tercel. One of the last carbureted engines from Toyota and still averaged 50 MPG , thats correct , 50 MPG. It was so good on gas that I thought it was something neat that slipped out of the "test area" at Toyota .
  17. You forgot the Summit Heights area off of the  Paradise Hill road area   :yuck:
  18. Yep thats the one I was talking about ! Drives a Red Dodge Viper and wife drives a Red Mercedes . I heard the exact call when it came over our radio .
  19. hahaha LOL !!! Let me guess , wearing white snake skin boots and a solid gold ring on every finger .

  21. I like the ole P95 too ! My first pistol was a P89 . The same pistol just a fiberglass frame !
  22. Yeah you're right . What  a pathetic group of people to believe that ! The jury heard the 911 call and the police audio from their recorders on the inside of the house and the gunfire , yet they decided this crap !
  23. This was a slap in the face to the victim's family and the officers involved and the officer that got shot !!!!!
  24. The shooter says that he had took some drugs. But what the heck ?
  25. Not this jury !
