I wonder when/if S&W will have the Shield in .45acp ? Now to me that would be nice .

I really wanted this gun but the grip safety is what made me decide to not get it . If it is not depressed correctly , like the other XD's , is may not fire. I had an XD fullsize in 9mm . I loved it but with a one hand grip that was not "exactly correct" the gun would not fire . That is why I got rid of it . There may be times where you need to fire with one hand and it may be an awkward situation , and you may not be able to fire the gun . That is why I stick with Glock and the non grip-safety type guns. If they would eliminate the grip safety it would be an AWESOME GUN !!

Which has good points and bad points ? I know they shoot the same caliber but which tends to be the better rifle and easier to disassemble and more reliable ? I have shot a Bushmaster and it is nice but what about the Ruger Mini 14 ? Any helpful information is appreciated .

Does this Jericho have the frame mounted safety or the slide mounted one ? Any pics ?

I bought one when they came out . Mine was brand new . Mine was in 9mm . In only 100 rds it ate up it's own guide rod , it looked like it was chewed up. Then the trigger would not reset all of the time. And lastly the magazine would not eject when it was full nor empty. I do love CZ's but I just dont think CZ has gotten it right with their polymer guns yet. CZ did send me a whole new gun in just 2 weeks but I could never trust that design so I traded it off.

No it is just a sink drain and that is what made me mad . For that price she could have bought a good used car !

I told mom that the whole house , drain and water supply should'nt be that much all togather ! Bottom line is that they are trying to take her on a ride. I hate to do it but I may over step my mother and talk to them myself. But if my mother finds out she'll be mad . But I love her and dont want her taken advantage of , you know ?

I appreciate it 6.8AR , my mom live in the same town as you and me and her house was made in the 60's. Still it should'nt be that much ! Like I said I would do it all for free but my mom is hard-headed and wants a "plumber" to do it all.

This may get me banned from this website or not , I am not sure , but this involves my mom and if it means keeping others from getting screwed then it is worth it ! My mom lives in a single level 3 bedroom home with one bathroom and one kitchen . Her kitchen drain is clogged. I came over and messed with it and it worked for 4 days then it clogged again . Now this is only the kitchen drain and it goes out one pipe and that is it . Well she called Hiller Plumbing because she thinks the sun rises and sits on them. They quoted her $3500 for to replace her kitchen drain pipe !!!!! I am a police officer and a part time mechanic but I know that it doesnt cost anywhere near $3500 to replace a drain pipe for one sink !!!!!!! I have tried talking to her and she insists on them doing it . My brother and me have talked to her until we are blue in the face trying to get her to understand that she is getting "took" . She still wants them to do it . I want to do it for free but she wants them to do it . I may call the BBB about this . What do you guys think ? I believe this is way over charging someone ! Drains work on gravity and I have did drain pipes before and this is crazy!

I agree . I carry a Glock 30 and some say it is too thick and all and lots of people say it is ugly . I just like it and I can shoot it more accurate than a 9mm so I just dont care what they say.

I liked them greatly until my .38 Revolver , I think it was a model 85 , locked up with no warning at all. The cylinder just locked and that was all she wrote! This was just with 20 rds through it . That was enough for me to just save up for what I wanted in the first place, a S&W 442 . No problems at all with it

How was the picture or signal on the converter box ? Where did you get it at ?

We currently have Direct TV . We have had them for 9 years and never had a problem. I called about a problem and I am getting some very negative feedback from them. So I want to know if any of you guys/gals have the "converter" box or whatever it is called that allows you to watch the normal "free channels" that we used to get before a few years ago before antennas went out the door ? If you have them, where do I get one and how much does it cost ? Thanks in advance . I am getting ready to cancel satellite TV and save about $70 .

I was raised by getting my butt busted with a belt or switch from a tree/bush. I turned out pretty well. SO we do that to our kids . If a bad word comes out of their mouths , their mouth gets popped by my hand or their mom's hand and so on . SO far my son (14 yrs old) has turned out to be a fine young man , he is 14 yrs old and is 6 foot tall ! But a good polite young man . I love him so much . He asked me to go to the mall with his friend the other day and I said no , He said ok daddy , and that was it . If I let him hang out there with that trash , there is no telling what could happen . My wife and me take him and his friends to family places and such to have fun . We still go to the mall but they stay near us .

I think it is supposed to add extra life and prevent wear to the barrel . I have it in my Cougar and my M9 .

I bought a Minotaur Comptac holster at the Lebanon Gun Shop. They let me use one of their guns for sale to check the fit in this holster that I was buying. Most places dont let you do that for fear that it may cause scratches to the gun for sale, but they did . They rock ! They are awesome and very friendly. I will always go back there. Plus the lady there with the glasses is very pretty !

My wife and me were there last night and I didnt notice any gun buster signs anywhere. I tell you what , I sure was like a kid in the Lego store! WOW that Lego store is cool even if I am 39yrs old! I still have a Lego model of a helicopter that I made myself back in 1980 . But back to the topic , I looked and saw no gun buster signs.

I think the M&P Shield is a great idea , but I still like a good double stack . I like to send a swarm of 9mm honey bees toward my attacker

You seem to have a lot of talent ! I'd love to do that with my lanyard that I made for my Swiss Army Knife .
