On a technical note: I sized up a firing pin that came from brownells and the one that came in the limousine from rock river,same size same curve on strike area and same diameter. The rock river pins didn't have the same luster, kind of rough not in a bad way. Would still like to know who the firing pin gods are..Ill never leave shipping open and will believe companies should learn to ship from amazon and take customer service lessons from John Taffer...

Why? outpost armory put a reward up for their stuff,big one at that after they caught the thief,Crime stoppers pays for tips as well. no big deal benefactor or le it doesn't matter. It was a simple question, considering the amt of weapons being stolen in Ruth county it's becoming a bad epidemic. It'll be worse if bodies show up from stolen weapon use. On a side note,not many missing.why were they not secured in a safe? If there's no reward or incentive to get em back it's just another theft w no violence. It'll get reported on stats as a burglary. While performing an internal study for a rifle project I ordered 2 rock river ar15 firing pins direct from rock river. I check out 15 bucks or so for 2 pins shipping was shown as tbd during checkout Got a box today about the the size of a large roll o toilet paper. After pulling out paper packing etc a small bag containing 2 pins falls out. Ok I'm good just what I ordered. Nice rock river quality pins.I had a hankering to check the ccard statement, almost 20 bucks to ship 2 firing pins. They could have tossed em in a cardboard envelope ala amazon style for 3 bucks... Lesson learned is tbd in the shipping cost column means toopid bastard delivery charge Live n learn... I used a clear wireless box on a pay as you go for wireless and roku 2 for Netflix and such. Cost was 62 per month. Brought comcrap back in to get telephone and tv and wireless w out hbo and show time for 100 a mo. Made sense cause I wanted AT and T the ##%^^ out of my house. So for an extra 60 a mo I got faster net, kept netflix and got hi speed wireless net I'm not on a comcrap contract so I can dump em like a Taurus 38 in a dark alley.... All the way from Croatia Illinois or wherever these things are beaten into a something my little friend showed up like a list tattoo finding mr roarke. It showed up w a new lil box. stay aware of your activity in your neighborhood, beware when selling items to strangers, try not to let them in your home and don't tell them when you come and go from work,school home, etc. these guys hitting safes sounds too organized, i dont believe in coincidence....but it seems like turdbags are breeding quickly lately.. hope your son gets stuff back, advise him to get renters insurance is possible,, hope this helps...
