  1.   sad, but RIP     Lycurgan, Inc. Ares Armor 208 N Freeman St Oceanside, CA 92054   TO: Whom it may concern FROM: Dimitrios Karras, CEO Ares Armor DATE: November 10, 2014   Today is the marking of the birth of the Marine Corps, Veterans Day is right around the corner. Even in the midst of the swirling celebratory traditions, the world now seems empty.   I opened the door to my office and stepped over the pile of mail that had accumulated from the past week. Minutes have seemed like hours, hours have seemed like an eternity. I walked in circles searching for something, anything. I have never been more acutely aware of the human condition. I have never more desired what my conscious mind knows to be impossible. Even now, as I sit behind my desk typing these words, it is difficult to fathom that this is real.   You would be hard pressed to find a better man than Jastin.  I can still smell the blood and oil that covered Jastin from head to foot, as he risked his own life to rescue another Marine.   He was truly a terror upon his enemies. His strength seemed unparalleled. His capacity for violence during combat was matched only by his capacity for kindness during peace.   To complete strangers, Jastin would show a level of benevolence and understanding that was awe inspiring. It was a regular occurrence for him to bring home a homeless person to eat with us; he would introduce them as if they were old friends.   “This is my buddy Travis; I am helping him get a bus ticket to Texas.”   For Jastin, the war never truly ended. The burden became too heavy. Last week he took his own life.   His war is finally over. He has found the peace he so desperately wanted.   Jastin was my roommate and one of my closest friends, I am thankful for the time that I got to spend with him. He was one of the founding members of Ares Armor. He is loved by many.   Please keep his family in your prayers during these trying times.   Sincerely,   Dimitrios Karras, CEO Ares Armor

  7. Thx fwiw the brake out 2.0 works nice. Used it w the can and without, nice groups out of the 7.5 barrel using the crappy sig red dot! Muzzle rise is reduced significantly. Ended up paying 60 for 2 of these after the rebate

  9. They will!! There's 7 likes at the bottom of the page! It'd be nice to have if they do it right. Good location. Hopefully they won't price themselves into orbit. Or charge for stupid crap like other places. Most folks west of Bellevue don't need a range or gunshop. If they had a portion of the bldg dedicated to a virt sim, that would be cool! Hopefully they're not 2 years too late. I never heard of these guys either unless it's the tiny shop between best buy and Napa auto parts?
  10. That's not funny!
  11. [quote name="toby1304" post="1206842" timestamp="1415332278"]I too stopped by Franklin Gun Shop earlier this week and almost had a heart attack and I didn't even make it to the reloading rack. I actually walked in and had 3 different employees say Hi and asked me how I was doing. I have been in there 3 or 4 times and that is the first time I have ever had someone acknowledge my presence. Just for that I purchased some Titegroup and half way to the counter another employee stopped me and started talking about the powder. I thought I was on a hidden camera show. I was pleasantly surprised.[/ They probably caught on that operating a gun shop like "dicks last resort" doesn't work.... Or maybe the guy from "the profit" took it over.....
  12. My name is DustBuster,i'm addicted to black rifles. It's only fair to tell you that some of us are members of the 12 step program which helps keep us from spending our children's inheritance on things that go boom in the night 1 we admitted that we are powerless over black rifles and our lives are still very manageable 2 we came to believe in a higher power that will make us believe reloading isn't the only option. 3 we inventoried our safes and caches and there will never be enough parts Anyone care to continue?
