1. Back when Clinton was in office and we went thru this I began buying ammo powders primers brass etc.... and to this day I still buy yea I'm sure I have more than I'll ever use. But the thing is if it ever dries up and that's seems be the way its headed I'll have my stash for years to come. I probably averaged 4-5 bricks ammo a week for 4-5 yrs and then this shortage has hit and I haven't had luxery to buy as the rest of you. I got one large shipment in a few months back of roughly 22000 rounds but that took a year on back order then. I have another back order shipment still out there for another 50k rnds I hope gets filled soon. So in mean time I buy and reload for my handguns and rifles. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
 2. That's just of the winchester brand but yea I have a great deal put away. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
 3. Sadly I have 65000 rounds of both lot numbers combined. I sent Winchester an email stating I have some of there recalled ammo but no word back from them. I be damned though if they want it back before sending me the exact amount I have stored and I sure ain't taking a refund for this when street value is roughly 150.00 per 1000 rounds
 4. As title says it's there but going fasts anyone needs any.

 10.
if you're gonna go low recoil, you're gonna be better off with something like a 6BR. A 223 has kinda short legs, even shooting 80 VLD's.
He's not gonna find a factory 6 BR in the price range he is wanting to stay in this is why I suggested a 223 and if that's got short legs tell that to the high power shooters who shoot 1000 yards with one. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
 11. One more thought here consider the recoil on lighter guns. A 7-8 lb gun will cause you to develope a flinch or many pulled shots because of the abrupt recoil. Maybe look into a 223 with 8 twist barrel and shoot the 75-80 grn bullets. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
 12. Savage will be your biggest bang for the buck for sure. One thing is and I highly recommend is don't skimp on glass. Save and save even more and buy good glass. Most likely you'll spend more on glass than you will the rifle but in the end you'll be happier. You can't hit what you can't see and you can't make accurate adjustments on scopes that wonder when changing elevation or windage. There are some really good NF optics used for sale now days with the new line on the market. Look into some NXS scopes if anything look into a sightron SIII scope. But stay away from those low end scopes at all costs. I've in the past have tested a many low end and mid level scopes on my 50 to prove a point of how the internals are junk. Some didn't hold up to a single shot some held up to 5 shots and I've even shook apart a Leupold mark 4 on this rifle. I know also what you're buying isn't a 50 so a cheap scope will hold up for more shots but in the end its going to fail. Its not a matter of if its all about when it will. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro

 14.
Now thats really funny. Those trucks are city boy trucks and I doubt they pull much anything with the whimpy frame they have under them. If you want a real mans truck it'll be a dodge or ford and myself prefer Dodge over the fords. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
 15. I was charged 21.00 for shipping for 2000 bullets
I see a lot of homophobia on TGO but you got to look at it like this: The more diverse the gun community is the better off we are as a whole. Who would you rather shoot next to at the range a safe homosexual with good gun handling skills or straight Bubba that's sweeping you constantly?
Neither Typically if I'm next someone annoying or I prefer not be next to me I'll pull out the 50 cal and pop couple rounds and by second shot they either packing up or moving far away. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro

 18. If drinking had been an influence the gentleman would had been arrested for negligent homicide, the story said no arrests were made so let's assume at this point alcohol was not a factor in the accidental death of his roommate. So if I'm in a bad part of town late night where known drugs are known to be sold and used, does this automatically make me a drug dealer or user although I've never used drugs in my life? Just because you own firearms does this make you automatically a terrorist? Get the point?
 19.
Experience. Don't get so worked up. I could be wrong, I just probably ain't.
Its called inexcusable profiling based on nothing more than assumptions. Many people work late nights or are up late that doesn't mean any of them are out drinking or doing drugs. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
 20.
This happened in the middle of the night. Nothing responsible happens with guns in the middle of the night. Alcohol was a factor.
So just because of time of night this person had been drinking? What basis do you happen to conclude this on? I reckon when I come in from work at night and disarm myself I'm automatically considered I've been drinking due to the hour of night? Wow pretty sad observations from what I gather I sure hope you're never on a jury if ever called upon on such incidents. No one knows how or why this handgun was discharged but sure lots of finger pointing and guessing of why instead of having sympathy for the deceased and family and even for the guy whom accidentally shot his roommate. Yes safety is always needed but not a single one of us knows what happened and too many directly want to place blame on this guy did something wrong or in some cases he was under the influence. sent from RAZR Maxx HD using Tapatalk Pro
