  1. The class has mandated material, so it really doesn't matter where you go. Find the cheapest. $250 or $60, either gets you the certificate. The guy who taught mine retired, so unfortunately I can't recommend where to go.
  2. I'm glad they underlined this. People may not have understood it otherwise.
  3. One of the few celebrities I would have loved to have a coffee with and just talk for a few hours. I don't know much about his personal life, his politics or what troubles he had. For that alone, I have the utmost respect. The world is truly darker without him. God speed sir and rest in peace.
  4. I've tried the Old Man 2-3 times. I just can't finish it and I'm not sure why. It started off strong and then got boring with the flashbacks. Shogun on Hulu was amazing. Jack Ryan was good for a season or two and then it jumped the shark. The last season i didn't like at all. It fell to the same issue as homeland. They killed off the bad guy and needed a new plot when they should have just ended it. If you like Clancy stuff, be sure to avoid Without Remorse and the upcoming Rainbow Six (Michael Pena as Ding Chavez? Come on). Without Remorse simply takes a dump on the IP in true Hollywood fashion. Terminal list was tough as well. I wanted to like it more, but I just don't take Pratt seriously as a hardcore operator. It's just the funny man snarling the whole show. I shoot first and don't ask questions later. I'm a loaner Dotty, a rebel. Bullet train. I thought I would hate this movie. Color me impressed because its great. My son and I have watched it a few times. We like to call idiots a diesel when we see them in public.
  5. Just to clarify for your sale, is this the TACOPS model? It doesn't appear to have the magwell, so wanted to ask.
  6. Overpriced Armory if you ask me. Eat up the little guy, mark up all the inventory. I never do more than window shop.
  7. I mean... what?? why?? Who designed this? Maybe bad ammo?
  8. 1-2 weeks I could see. Maybe a 3rd for shipping. 6-8 weeks? They're outta their minds.
  9. Only the first round fails to feed... Well if you're not riding the slide and you've tried different ammo, then yeah, sending it in is the right choice. That turn around time is enough to say that I'll never own a Zev. As an aside, I just recently took all of my 9mms to a friends farm. I brought only WInchester white box. I've never had so many FTEs. It happened on EVERY one of my pistols and my carbine. It's to the point that i've deemed that ammo as unsafe. Glad i'm almost out of it.
  10. Try to avoid using just words as they are prone to dictionary attacks. 'Ilovefootball' isn't a great password. Switching out characters, shortening words, etc will make a huge difference. We're talking the difference of minutes to crack vs a million years. Or use something memorable that only you would know. Like that time the titans threw a hail mary on 4th down and won. 'Titns4dwnH4ilmry!' That's just an example. Nothing is foolproof sadly. You will NEVER be completely secure online. But taking steps like this will stop 99% of the riff raff like a deadbolt on your front door.
  11. Are you sharing passwords amongst accounts? Unfortunately when it comes to being breached, it's not if, it's when. Now is the time to go through all of your accounts to ensure you have things like multi-factor auth enabled. Also ditch common passwords. It's a pain, but worth it in the long run. Get yourself a good password manager (avoid LastPass) and use random strings This "hacker" probably just bought a list from some data broker, which included your stuff. The fact that they engaged in a message with you is telling. Nobody in the business would leave a papertrail to their handiwork.
  12. glad i'm in the county
  13. i saw a ti-84 at target for $55. i had to fight the urge to buy it because it was such a good deal
  14. I saw Aliens: Romulus today. I didn't expect much, given everything beyond part 3 has been awful. Bottom line up front: I was an Alien/ Aliens super fan. I read the books And comics when I was young. Heck I still have some of the models and toys. Alien 3 (though good) was a departure from the source IMHO. All the AvP stuff and Prometheus movies deserve to be wiped from existence. I have to admit, I liked Romulus quite a bit. It felt like it was set in the universe. The sets looked awesome. Yeah it had all the aliens tropes, but it felt good. Riiiiight up until the last act. They blew it in my opinion. I won't say how or why to avoid spoilers, but if you read what I hate about the genre, you'll know when you get to the part. There wasn't any woke or political crap either. The protagonist is a female, as per usual. The aliens series is an allegory for motherhood Anyway. Alien Impregnation, the eggs, female leads. Even the computer is MU/TH/UR. The lead actress did a good job and so did the rest of the cast. It's worth it, even if the last of it sucked. I just wish we could get more colonial Marines. Why is that so hard?
  15. now the question is, how easily will you be able to order them? it's probably cz custom and cajun or nothing
  16. https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-p-09-c-nocturne/ https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-p-09-f-nocturne/ I haven't carried it in a bit, but I've had the original P-07 Duty since it came out. I love that pistol, I've shot it thousands of times. I didn't bother to get the upgraded version and I skipped out on the P-09 because I just don't have a use case for the same pistol in a larger format. But I gotta say that I'm interested in this model. In a nutshell, CZ has blended the 07 and 09 into one. They've added new slide serrations, suppressor height sights, a flare on the mags, new grip texture. Best of all though, it'll let you run an optic! It comes in a C (compact) and F (full size) and still uses the classic DA/SA hammer config. I haven't done much research yet but Grab-a-gun had the compact model for $549 this morning.
  17. Sucks you went through that. Who knows what was going on in their personal life that made them want to attack you over print on a t-shirt. My guess is weaponized MSM and social media. I seriously doubt they're doing humanitarian work in that theater. Idiots are everywhere unfortunately. You should wear the shirt if you want. Just maybe be prepared to have that convo again in the future. I tend to try and shift it to kindness. Maybe next time instead of responding in kind to the attack, just immediately start telling them about the good you've seen. Fight fire with water.
  18. Sly lost me when he came out publicly as an anti-gunner during an interview for his new movie "bullet to the head".
  19. It was very funny. I'm probably a lesser person for enjoying it...but I did.
  20. I've heard that Disney marvel has been purging the agenda folks. Maybe it'll happen to lucasfilm eventually.
  21. So I'm not a Star Wars fan (anymore), but I might be able to get behind this if it's done right. I was always a fan of The Goonies type shows, so maybe this one will be good? maybe?
  22. It's like a great old ones younger sister who's going through an identity crisis.
  23. I have two Kore leather belts (black and brown). They are by far the most versatile belts I've owned. Looks good enough to tuck a shirt in and still rugged enough to have a holster strapped on it. I didn't think I would be a fan of the tractor but I really like how adjustable it is. Our stomachs aren't static sizes, so it's nice to be able to cinch up in the morning and let it out 1-2 clicks later after a meal.
