You can go to the ER if you need. They won't have a dentist, but they can pump you up with novocain type products. I had to do this once on a Sunday night just to make it until Monday. I can't recall what they shot me up with, it was some kind of '___cain" that blocked the nerves. Personally, if i REALLY need a painkiller and don't have one, I will eat 800mg of ibuprofen and 1000mg of acetaminophen. Please take that suggestion with a grain of salt as you're likely not my size, weight, health.

I traded another TGO'er some photoshop work for an EOtech lens cover once. Not exactly a direct trade. He posted that he was having problems with the labels for his honey jars, so i just fixed it for him. Later on he posted his GG&G cover and when i responded he just gave it to me. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. P.S. I hope that honey farm is doing well!

I'm the same way. If I buy it, I want to shoot it. Adulting is hard though and I don't have property to shoot on. This means I have to pack up, go someplace, pay-to-play, etc. So instead of just fun, it starts to feel like a chore. The older I get, the less I want to take up additional chores.

So i never followed up on this. The second guy was given a memorial party... with a cash bar (don't get me started). That's how he lived and that's how people wanted to remember him. So, who am I to judge? However, I did grab the mic, tell a few funny stories and then point out that he had a problem, just like we all do, but often in different ways. Then I said sternly that if you're struggling with anything, find help. There's 50+ people in this room, i'm sure you could start here. Including with me. That's about the best I can offer.

NIB doesn't surprise me in the slightest. I've recently had 3 unfired... it comes with the territory over time. The more surprising part is the value that some folks attach to their stuff. Especially if it comes with the "custom" descriptor.

LCP2 when it's athletic shorts and tshirts. Otherwise it's P365 XMacro Tacops. Hard to argue with 17+1 in such a compact package. It made me stash away the CZ P-07 I've carried for years. It I won't say I like it more, it just makes more sense right now.

I got my hunter safety card in '93 or '94 in highschool. "Wildlife and Forestry" was the name of the class. Also got training on bows and pump shotguns during class trips to the teachers farm.

Because if you train kids on how to use them safely, then you'll have a generation of kids that likely respect them. That's detrimental to their ultimate agenda, disarming the population.

Just make sure you have that "don't sell my data" privacy option turned on in life360. That's not foolproof like any other privacy setting. Companies only add options like that when they are legally obligated...but at least that part is obvious if you go look.
