Years ago I picked up a cheap Kershaw Emerson. Not the highest quality steel, so it needed regular sharpening, but what made it worthwhile was the "wave" opening. I'm so spoiled by it that I don't think I would ever want to go without one. Reach for the knife and presto, it's open and ready to roll. Plus, it's kinda fun seeing people's reaction at how fast it just appears when you need it. This year for Christmas, the wife wanted to get me something nice and so i sent her out for the upgrade and she picked up an actual Emerson. Decided to go with the Sheepdog Mini with a spearpoint. I'm very happy with the construction and smooth operation overall, though I haven't really put it through its paces yet. Just curious if anyone else is a fan? (there may be another thread somewhere in the pile. I won't lie, I didn't bother to look.

This is assuming businesses would hire "skilled US workers". Sadly, made in USA doesn't necessarily mean it's made by Bobby and Susie craftsman from our neighborhoods. It'll be the absolute cheapest labor they can get.

Finally got to do this today. Used the expanding foam to seal up the gaps instead which was a mistake. That stuff is messy. Regardless, I very much appreciate the advice. Same goes for everyone else in the thread who pitched in. I greatly appreciate it. Turns out it was a skunk. I guess it was so concentrated that i couldn't tell. caught his stinky a** on camera though. I noticed some scratch marks in the dirt at the front of the AC and a bunch of excess wire had been pulled out and chewed on. I think the A-hole bit that wire till it bit him back and he sprayed my unit. Then the house of cards pulled it inside for me to enjoy.

I just got in my crawlspace today and did some work. Which reminds me, I should thank the TGO'ers who gave me some ideas on how to fix it... more in another thread
