  1. It's like a great old ones younger sister who's going through an identity crisis.
  2. I have two Kore leather belts (black and brown). They are by far the most versatile belts I've owned. Looks good enough to tuck a shirt in and still rugged enough to have a holster strapped on it. I didn't think I would be a fan of the tractor but I really like how adjustable it is. Our stomachs aren't static sizes, so it's nice to be able to cinch up in the morning and let it out 1-2 clicks later after a meal.
  3. We overdid it with tomatoes this year. Tried out a few different types, but ultimately we've decided that cherry or beefeater is what we like best. Next year will be fewer plants and to spread into different crops. Right now we have two raised beds but with a plan to build 3-4 more and surround it with gravel walkways.
  4. This might be a repost, but I still enjoy it.
  5. nailed it
  6. the 98k must be because of that sweet Costco discount!
  7. Costco had a nice looking GMC Sierra sitting in the exit recently. Sticker on it was 98k. Guess I'll never own a Sierra.
  8. That temperature slider didn't make a lick of difference for about 15 minutes. About the time you got where you were going, it would just start pumping out hot or cold air.
  9. I bought one of these a few years ago. No complaints. https://www.staples.com/tempur-pedic-ergonomic-fabric-swivel-computer-and-desk-chair-black-tp6400-blk/product_2724237 Frame of reference, I'm in IT leadership and have to sit in front of the screen for extended periods. Years later and the foam has held up. I'm 6'2", 230lbs.
  10. Over the top Delta cracked me up. He even did the pillow silencer bit. Also forgot the part where Russell Crowe has morphed into John Goodman from Big Lebowski
  11. "Land of Bad" on Netflix wasn't particularly good, but it was fine enough if you're looking for an action flick.
  12. Let's guess. I say Blue Ridge Parkway
  13. yeah i don't want to give her too much credit. However, it's good to hear her say the AR15 is "one of the most popular semi-automatic weapons in the United States". That's a great admission.
  14. He's looking tough! Give him a high five for me. See now I wanted to shoot that lever action as well!!!
  15. As a kid I had so many toy guns without the orange tip. Though I get why they started....
  16. I didn't buy a P-09 because i have a P-07 Duty (gen 1). I love the p-07 so i can't see why i wouldn't like the P-09, but.... two of practically the same pistol
  17. I get this too. I think it's either a plugin or my router blocking it for security reasons. I think these are in a CDN. Probably why.
  18. Some theories about the shutter speed required to capture a bullet in flight as well. Like, why is professional photographer using a high speed setting for a guy standing still at a podium?
  19. For me, it was the way he could calmly work around stupidity, absorb it and only perhaps use slight sarcasm instead of losing his mind. Masterful comedy.
  20. Forgot to mention that a 12 ft ladder would have been exactly what the Secret Service needed to thwart the assassination attempt.
  21. I would agree on the good ole boy reference. You wind up with an echo chamber of confirmation bias. Diversity is helpful, as long as the talent is qualified.
  22. Thanks. Current at work so i just provided it as is.
  23. wow, just saw this Microsoft laid off a DEI team, and its lead wrote an internal email blasting how DEI is 'no longer business critical' https://www.businessinsider.com/microsoft-layoffs-dei-leader-email-2024-7 unfortunately it's behind a paywall.
  24. dude i just spit out my coffee
