  1. I have made a leather holster for a Smith & Wesson with a laser, I informed the buyer that it would look a little more like a pouch. He ordered it and liked it, it had good retention for what it is. It can be seen on the first page of my FB page. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I stumbled on the punisher and watched the entire thing in a few days, does anyone know if it is a one season flash in the pan kind of a deal? I really liked and would want for more, also waiting for the spin off from Sons of Anarchy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I have posted a lot of my builds here, but then was concentrating on other venues to only have members here come asking for things, so I thought I would post more. But the time I spend building and creating things competes with my time to make things, just like I mentioned on another board just a few minutes ago, I will put my work like my belts against anyone else’s. There are only so many ways to cut up cow skin and make stuff from it. You can probably go back and find post from me as well as the others and find a lot of well made items and not have a need to go outside the board, just need to look for the person and his work to determine if it works for. Each persons work speaks for itself. Have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Feliz Navidad, and what he said above but most of God Bless Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. There are times when I could use the extra hand, 1 son isn't really interested and the other has a disability that prevents him from doing it, but there isn't enough to really call out for help. However I can say that it is growing, and doing so every month and that is great, the hard work is starting to pay off, cutting some of this thick arse ####e by hand gets tough on an old guy:). Keep it mind though, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Feliz Navidad. Ron
  6. Not for me but building something that I have not done before so the new buyer has given me time to build this, I was right up front in that it would be my first and most of you guys can recall the first. He did have a choice he could have bought one of the mass produced Hecho En Mexico rigs, but, he decided that he was good with my doing it for him and at stated price.
  7. I would call and ask what's up with the high priced shipping.

  14. not sure if you guys are aware, but as of this coming Veterans day we will now be allowed to shop on line at the commissary. and it is something that will remain in effect indefinitely. My wife is sure excited about it, I might be as well once I find out about being able to buy any guns from them or it would have to be done on base. Any way not sure if any body here knew about it or not.
  15. I spoke with another person this morning about Ft Campbell, I am going to contact all three, what I want to do is work on making a custom pool cue. Many years ago I had helped 2 well known cue makers in Cali make shafts and work on the cue butts. All of this was done on machinists lathe, they provide much more control that is needed when doing fine detail work. So even if they have that may not understand the need or be willing to let me use them for what I want to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks I will look into that and see if they have what I need to work on my project ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. There are some major cities in the country that have a community workshop so to speak, it is a place where you can go and rent the equipment that they have for projects that you might be working on. That might have Photo equipment, Machine Shop tools like lathes and mills etc. I am wondering is there might be such a facility in the Nashville area or some where in surrounding area. I have a wood project that I want to work on that would call for a machinist lathe, if some one knows please let me know. Thanks Ron Padilla
  18. Where are you located? If everyone that makes chimes in it might turn out that none are close to you
  19. The above is correct place the gun in a freezer bag put back in holster a let it set for a day or 2 and work it from time to time, however the maker should have known to make allowances for the site channel. You can look at what I have or any of the other makers that are here on the board and you can be assured that they are all built to accommodate the site channel, if the bag doesn’t work and depending on if the holster was sealed you could get o wooden dowel at Lowe’s or Home Depot 1/8 round with the gun in the holster and drive the dowel down into the holster that might also stretch it
  20. That is for customer, I am now making him belt to go along with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. [lIMG]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170713/b64dbce2be020af2d46f9b0fb7531619.jpg[/img] The photo really doesn't do it an justice, in person it really stands out, with the clear coat and the wax job it pops.
  22. It is drying right now and the fit was super tight so I decided to put in a baggie now. Still need to do the edges, touch ups, some more oil, then the clear coat.
  23. Ya I am half that cost and will do everything to make it right including making a new one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Sheeeit I would love to be able to sell my goods at that price point !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
