Test it out, might be fine. If it runs good and no issues your problem is solved. In my experience about 30% of guns bought have to be returned and fixed. My favorite 1911 is a return.

Don't think you messed up Bersa. It's these types of situations that we all have to think about. These situations are not common in everyday life and it just gives everyone a chance to discuss it.

Honestly I don't know about the Z man. Maybe he's a loon maybe he's not. I know one thing, I don't trust the media, so I think I will never know the truth.

Bersa, your all good buddy. It's experiences like this that give us a chance to think about things. More than likely they were just being stupid kids, but in today's society just anybody is not allowed to discipline them.

I still remember taking my class at 2nd Amendment gun shop in smithville. The guys made it really fun and were a wealth of knowledge. I really hated that they went out of business. Hipower, it sounds like your class was the complete opposite. :)

Would you still feel this way if they walked two blocks down and started harassing an 80yr old grandmother? Or your wife, or friends wife? If at any point you feel threatened enough to possibly pull your gun I think it warrants calling LEO. Bersa has brought up a good lesson for all of us. I don't fault him the least for his decision, but this has brought up a good discussion for possibilities in this situation for all of us.

I agree it is a fad that many diesel truck owners wish would pass. It is also a rich kid fad because these trucks and parts are very expensive. It is incorrect that a properly tuned diesel will not smoke. Trucks built by professionals producing 1000+ horsepower will put out tremendous amounts of smoke. As will most stock turbocharged trucks built before about 2008. Trucks from 20yrs ago didn't smoke as bad mainly because they were not turbocharged and used less fuel. Then as I said there are the morons adding a "smoke button", which most diesel forums will ban you for even talking about as they should.

BB King was one of the greatest musical influences in my life. I've listened to him literally since conception. My dad is a huge blues fan and I still have all the old vinyl albums with lots of BB in it. I've listened to many styles of music, but BB and Blues were always there for me. We have truly lost a legend that can never be replaced. It is a very sad day. R.I.P. BB King.

Other than the CYA factor I think it would intrest the LEO greatly that there is a group of fools going around looking for trouble. I also think that many times with this behavior drug possession can be a possibility. Also anyone ever in this area just know there are a ton of LEO around, you wouldn't wait around long.

When accelerating hard, or doing the same while pulling a trailer, many diesel trucks will smoke pretty good. But some of these guys are increasing it by modifying their trucks, I'm guessing by making it use more fuel. I belong to a large Dodge diesel forum, they have been banning anyone talking about it or asking how to mod their trucks to do it.

Well that's a little out of place around here. Glad it didn't get any more serious. I'm betting they were traveling and came from off the interstate. Next time call the police and report them. If they pull them over I'm betting there will be other reasons inside the vehicle to arrest them on.

I agree. I think that would help a lot with the 16" barrel. I've never used electronic ears so I don't know how effective they are.

Also what barrel length are you using?

What type of hearing protection were you using?
