  1. What's his intended use and price range? There are so many different ones. They can go from $400 to $4000.
  2. Please tell me I can still like Clint Eastwood. I dont care if he talks to empty chairs, Josey Wales kicks ass.
  3. Thanks for the suggestions so far, that's exactly what I needed. Keep it coming, like all these. When I started looking I realized I really didn't have an idea what I was looking for.
  4. I'm looking for a used 308 bolt action and need some suggestions. Need to be in the 500 to 800 price range. I like wood and poly stocks. Also like the heavy barrels but looking at all kinds. Just want to know a few good brands and models to check out. It's mainly for target shooting, might use for deer, but that might be wishful thinking. Thanks.
  5. There is no reasonable gun control. We don't need compromise, we need people to take more responsibility. The problem is that so many want the government to take care of all the aspects of their lives. So many want big brother to keep them safe, pay their bills, and give them a free lunch, they don't care about rights or freedom. There was a time the looneys were kept in check, but I fear society has fell to such a low that time is lost forever.
  6. Aw man, somebody's gettin cut. Or gettin chilied. Seriously, I think this is a perfect example of how bad things can get.
  7. It would not matter how it was written, the libs and commies know what it means, they just hate and fear it. They all know exactly what it means.
  8. I carry this everyday and love it. Best Christmas present ever. Had it for a year now with no problems.
  9. Holy Crap Dave. Your the man buddy. Just sent you and the NRA some cash money through you guessed it, paypal. Keep up the great work!
  10. First off those two council members need to be removed from their position. This just goes to show how ridiculous some people can be. I just don't think those people can ever be reached.
  11. Sorry for your loss my friend. As you can tell by my pic I'm a big dog lover myself. Its always a sad day when that happens.
  12. If your drinking Guiness get the stout. One of my favorites right now is Magic Hat seasonal stout. Also at the liquor stores there is a chocolate stout too that's really good.
  13. Not that I needed any more reasons to shop there, but that's one more!
  14. Looks like one guy brings a loaded shotgun and accidentally goes off checking it at door. Birdshot into three people. Another shoots himself in the hand reloading after leaving a show. With all the BS going on I bet the gun shows were a madhouse. This doesn't help up out!
  15. Those are real nice gregintenn. I like the Lou Alessi holsters, but I use a shoulder rig. I havent tried one of his OWB but my OTS is nice.
  16. I'm a fan of the 1911. A good solid shooter, but can be a bit heavy. My favorites are the Les Baer models. They are a little pricey. I also agree with the other guys on the Springfield models. There are a lot of really great models from many manufactures(Colt, Wilson, Ed brown....) in the 1911.
  17. New to the site, and wanted to say hello. Looks like a great place here. I'm an avid 1911 shooter and think this looks to be a good source for local info and updates. Thanks.
  18. Don't forget a good firing pin stop, makes a big difference. I like the EGW.
