  1. Good to know your feeling better and talking blades again! One of these days I'm gonna have cash when you just happen to have some knives around. :)
  2. I think transportation would be a latter concern. I'm not leaving home for quite a while. We live in a pretty remote area. I would be looking for animals as transportation if vehicles were somehow not an option. If was somehow stranded out from home Im probably walking. Unless there just happens to be a large framed mountain bike lying around, then I might try it.
  3. Moped, sorry to get off bicycles discussion. I think bikes would be more beneficial to those in more urban areas. Or like the Vietnamese in the war, I think this differs because of type of person though. They were of smaller stature but very lean and muscular. Also were used to a very small low calorie diet to begin with. If your in very good physical condition, and are light and fast, a bike might be a good option. But you are going to have to pack very light too, so there the benefits deminish.
  4. Just bought a second one for The wife tonight. Went for an evening stroll tonight and still super comfy.
  5. This guys as dumb as the Australians that thought the microwave signals were aliens.
  6. My that is quite the finish. Very nice piece.
  7. Just saw an old replay of the 1985 Hagler vs Hearns fight. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Real boxing at its best. I don't think these guys today would stand a chance aginst any of the fighters back in the day. I remember seeing these growing up when it was such a big deal. The punches they took were just devastating.
  8. I know coming in to livingston from cookeville its on the right just past wallgreens. Just as you get into town.
  9. I'm thinking a horse, mule, or donkey would be more practical. If your under 40yrs and under 150lbs yea a bike might not be too bad. Over 6ft and over 250 lbs bike might kill you before anything else. :)
  10. It's a great one to visit if your out this way. I'm just glad we found one close to home we really like.
  11. Got to finally shoot it yesterday and love it. The holster has been very comfy. I suffer from noassatall itis, and it dosent make my pants droop like the ctac style one I have.
  12. Glad your ok. That would have scared the bejesus out of anyone. I wish you a speedy recovery and hope they take great care of you.
  13. I've been wearing this since I got it and I still love it!
  14. Just wanted to say a few good words about The Gun Shop and Trading Post in Livingston Tn. Went by there for the first time and what a great place. Met some really wonderful people working there and the owner was very nice and helpful too. The place has some really good prices, and they stock a lot of things I haven't seen in other stores. If your ever in the area I highly recommend it.
  15. Well that's it. We're going tomorrow just for the awesome range!
  16. I've actually used one on a backyard fire before and it works great. Really gets it going if stuff is damp.
  17. Channel 5 is the worst local news station out there. I can't bear to watch them.
  18. Good job Spots. Big and nasty as usual. I have to say you need to make some more out of the old framing hammers. That one you made, I thing I'd was an old eastwing was really light and sharp looking. Great work.
  19. Oh yea Greenbriar is dangerous. I've got a few there and will continue to visit even though they are an hour and a half away.
  20. I've never heard of even one being posted. I would reckon a church, in this state at least, would NOT be a gun free zone.
  21. Holy cow!! What kind of tree is that.
