  1. Qtip, nice bikes. I do enjoy the dual sport world but am without my F650gs as something had to go to help with the bills. I'll be looking at a KLR for a replacement when the time is right. The belly band thing could work or one of the shirts with a side holster. I worry more about security than anything. Don't wanna lose anything on the road. I saw a flyer a couple of years ago where a guy went down and lost his piece. He had a lost flier posted to see if anyone found it. I don't wanna be that guy fer sure.
  2. I've got a Gamo .177 break barrel it shoots at 1000fps. Nice for sure but I'm still working on the accuracy. I haven't found the right pellets to give me consistent accuracy yet. Picked up a Benjamin Classic in .22, that thing is spot on! I've also got 2 crossman pistols. Haven't monkeyed with those in years though. One is a pump he other is a revolver that uses co2. I don't like buying co2 :) Can't help you on the crossman you've got on the way.
  3. Inmo XP was the best they've had. I have transitioned to Mac though and dont miss windows one bit.
  4. Ever notice how many issues arise when dems are in charge. Just the amount of random shootings alone. Could they be manufactured too for their cause. Heartless!
  5. You have a positive attitude towards it and I believe your right. Keeping busy is the key. I've got some spine and spur issues that are on the cusp of being bad(to your level) I'm 5 yrs jr so it's a matter of time. I have found that when I'm taking it easy for too long it acts up, the muscles relax then the bones take over. It's not good for sure. Cautious continual activity is the best for me.
  6. Welcome to the group and hope your move home is smooth.
  7. I'm with you JAB on the length issue. I prefer fixed blades for everyday use.
  8. I've had it happen a couple of times even with my permit. I think it's because some chucklehead on the other end of the phone (on occasion) has a hard time differentiating the person the shop is calling about to someone similar on their computer. They are supposed to respond to the shop within a week with a definitive answer. Happened twice to me, no call back from the state both times. Be patient and it should go thru. Unless you were flat out denied, question it thru the state. Good luck!

  10. Welcome and thanks for keeping the streets safer for so many years. Hope you enjoy the retired life!

  12. Congrats on both the purchase and the time in life you and your son can share this sport! I've got a couple of Huglu(s). Picked them up in Turkey during a deployment. Till then I have never heard of them. A couple of guys with me were foaming out the mouth for em. I've gotta say they were right. Fine guns and they were a great value. From what I've read the yildez is a derivative of the huglu. You should get many many years of good use out of it.
  13. None have had the disdain as the community agitator. Bush did limit some imports to placate but what he did to the constitution is unmistakeable.
  14. Holder should be tried for treason and murder. The only reason he authorized and mandated gunshops to comply with the straw purchases were to be use against us. Manufacture a problem so the loonies can fix it. Now there are hundreds of dead people because of it. Executive privilege was the final cover up.
  15. I like how they put up "red light cameras" for safety reasons and accidents actually go up http://www.motorists.org/red-light-cameras/increase-accidents
  16. Right on, thanks for the info on the shad. I'da been looking for the salmon size. Bait it is. Just picked up a fishing kayak so I'm looking forward to seeing what I can reel out of Douglas.
  17. The clown has a pen and a phone, he's already urinated on the Constitution
  18. Ive been using the old Benjamin in .22 to wait this out, not nearly as fun but gets the job done.
  19. I've never checked out arms list before, thanks for the heads up. First search was a clown asking 88 bones for 450 rounds of golden bullet. I flagged it of course. I'm guessing a current market price for 550 rounds should be 30(ish) clams
  20. RichardR,  How is the shad? I know back in the day even our first president and his men enjoyed them out of the Delaware but I've heard they are extremely boney. I've heard they are tasty and a put up a good battle but the bones are a problem for cleaning. Just wonderin.
  21. It looks good! Art is in the eye of the beholder. No matter how you slice it what's under the finish is art!
  22. I second that question! Gander had some listed yesterday but of course their website no workie, guessing it was overwhelmed with visitors. Good for you on scoring! My 10/22 build is waiting for some to break it in, poor little guy.
