It may be a setting I can set on my account, or something that will self resolve once all of the indexing is complete, but from the mobile version when I click on a thread it no longer goes to the first unread message. The thread opens at the top of the first page, or top of whatever page number is selected. Previously it would jump to the first unread message. Other than that, all good so far and being able to see location in the mobile user profile is a big win!

I looked at the Launch a couple of times but never purchased. I have several Kershaw knives, a Blur is one of my EDCs. If I get another auto any time soon though I think I want to find someone with the TGO TR4 for sale.

Mail just ran. This is amazing!!!! Looks great, surprised at how lightweight it is compared to my current EDC knives.

I played back in highschool quite oftem and really enjoyed it. I had a nice Spyder Pilot and Halo B setup at the time. Everyone kind of fell out of the sport and I sold my equipment a few years ago. Airsoft does seem to be the hot sport anymore.

Brace Yourselves. Change is Coming. (IPBoard 4)

Every time I open this thread I expect to see some form of Game of Thrones meme because of the title.... I am looking forward to the update for the better mobile version. I hate Tapatalk so use the mobile version now and it works but could certainly be better. It would be great if you could see member location with the new mobile version. -
Wow, yes the book is way off base then. I knew the old Colt snake guns had skyrocketed but did not realize these Smith's had until reading these posts and searching further on GunBroker. I will probably go shoot it this weekend since it has been a while.

I figured $500 was the bottom of what this would be worth from what I saw online. This belonged to a late uncle, his daughter / my cousin owns it now and she knows I want it. She has talked on and off about selling it for a few years. Because of some family health issues and travel that is required it was given to me for safe keeping. I am extremely close to this side of the family so there is an emotional attachment for me. Now that it is in my safe I intend to keep it here!

I have been after this revolver for several years, belongs to a close family member, and I am finally close to owning it. I wanted to share as I know several here are Smith fans. The 36th edition Blue Book prices this at $325 in 95% condition, plus $9 for the 4" model. I have watched Gunbroker over the past few weeks, these have been listed for $400 and up to over double that in various condition. I need to spend more time going over this to get a better idea of the condition. I would appreciate any additional help in setting a value on this, as well as reading the label. TH and TT = target hammer / trigger I believe? I believed we had discovered this revolver was produced in 1968 previously, but my search on Google turned up this serial number range as from 1969. Close enough either way. I have shot this several times over the past few years and it is a great shooting piece. Very light and smooth trigger pull and extremely accurate with the .38 Special target rounds we used.

USPSA Classifier at NTPS-Strategic Edge 4-16-16
TNMTBik3r replied to captainstone's topic in Competitive Shooting Sports
I'll be there! First USPSA shoot, picked a good time to join and get classified since all 4 stages are setup this month. -
Who is going to pick up all that brass?! :) Will be a good time for all, just not sure I am going to be able to make it due to some family stuff here.

Oh shit.... He said "You'll be alright..." but I wonder. Also, what weapon was up Carol's sleeve?

Comic book post - not a spoiler since the episode has aired. In the comic Eugene found an actual Reloading setup. I forget now if it was a gun store setup or one of those small ammo manufacturer shops, but they were able to sit down and start cranking out ammo almost immediately and came in very useful.

Sent. First TGO knife, cannot wait to have it in hand.

Get the Hodgdon annual manual. About $6 and a ton of data. Only the Hodgdon/IMR/Winchester powders with a very wide selection of bullets. Basically what you can get online from Hodgdon printed out.

Any receiver, get a PSA or similar and put the extra money towards a barrel. ARP or Bison Armory barrel IMO. ARP Superbolt with your choice of carrier. Black River Tactical or Vortex comp. http://bisonarmory.com/barrels/ http://ar15performance.com/barrels
-
I am using C-Product mags right now. They were a bit cheaper than the PRI mags and so far no issues.
-
Get an ARP Superbolt with your choice of carrier or a Stag BCG if you want high quality 6.8 stuff. Something to be aware of, the LWRC 68 stuff is not quite the same - mags are different and I believe the receivers are too.

American Reloading. https://www.americanreloading.com/en/ Their prices fluctuate with sales. They have been having various 50% off inventory reduction sales so some stuff is out of stock but their prices are normally good anyways. I've bought brass and bullets from them before. They are good to go but can take a week or two to ship. Accuracy wise, I have used plated bullets from several sources and they are all about the same. I dont measure pistol groups, just shoot at paper and steel.
-
This example is using higher quality bullets so the cost is higher obviously. If you use cheaper plinking bullets you can cut that in half easily. I just bought 2k 115gr plated for $87 shipped. I'm not worried about accuracy because they won't be used in any sort of competition, just for trigger time at the range.
-
Maybe I'm tired, but based on that math so are you. :) 7000 grains in one pound, divided by your example of 5 grains a round is 1400 rounds per pound of powder. That doesn't affect the cost of that pound, just the grains for your load affects the price per round and total number of rounds loaded. FWIW, the last pistol powder I have bought (TiteGroup, W231, and CFE Pistol) have all been less than $22 per pound in the last 2 years and usually only $20/#.
