  1. No worries about that with me. I see humor in everything. I thought it was hilarious.
  2. I've done the same on rebate cards. It's not the money, it's the principle of it. Haha
  3. I agree that every gun lover needs one. This one is very accurate.
  4. Hey now don't be hating on this fine, ugly ass, accurate as hell bullet slinger. When I first saw it I was like what have I done. Lol.
  5. Well, I guess no one can compete with that picture. Congratulations.
  6. I've had this Mossberg 464 SPX for a long time. It will win the ugliest lever gun award but damn it's a lot of fun to shoot.
  7. I have 4 safes. Cannon Fat Boy, 2 TreadWells that are no longer in production, and my last safe was a Browning Medallion 65T. They each serve the purpose for what I have in them. I purchased the Browning from Knoxville Safe House in Alcoa TN. They were great to work with answering all of my questions. Fire ratings, water ratings, etc are all over the place so you need to discuss what you will be keeping in the safe. It ultimately comes down to budget and getting the best safe for your needs within that budget. When I built out my gun room I made that room as fire and waterproof as feasable because I have a lot of guns displayed on the walls. Unfortunately, there is nothing that will protect at 100%. Parker's Safes is a vendor on the Forum and I have heard nothing but good things about them.
  8. Yeah that is by design. I have a system for rebates, etc that I follow every single time. I setup reminders of when they are due and then pester companies if I've not received it. I hate the whole process but I've not missed one yet.
  9. It's a known fact in the retail world that only 10-30% of rebates are ever claimed. It's also a reason many companies use gift cards for rebates or refunds. Even if used, most will have a few dollars left on the balance that are never used. Companies save millions over the course of a year.
  10. Very cool. How long is the barrel?
  11. I hope I at least get one more email about the Marlin Trapper 45-70 for $1199 even though they are never in stock. You can have the greatest price in the world but it's just bait if they don't have them in stock. I agree it's just everyone fighting for your dollar.
  12. Yes, they do. As long as I have collected Smith revolvers I am still amazed at how grips can change everything about a pistol. Very sharp.
  13. Got this yesterday. Marlin 1895GBL Ruger version in 45-70.
  14. If you plan to carry in other states it is reciprocated in most.
  15. Lol. Think of all the guns, ammo and mags you can put in there. Ha
  16. Motion flood lights also help. 4 feet in on my driveway and it lights up enough that I can bring in a 747 for landing if needed. Also have them around other areas of the house as well.
