  1. Brand new in box -- complete upper for 9mm Sig P229, with slide and all internal parts, barrel, and recoil assembly, plus new magazine. Will also fit the M11-A1. Never mounted on a pistol frame. I bought this because I was planning to have it cut for a red-dot sight and then have two uppers for my Sig, but I've moved on to another project and am letting this go.
  2. Agreed. Once you've used a good spotting scope and understand what one is, the POS Walmart versions won't suffice any more. Cheers, Whisper
  3. I can offer a couple of reasons: 1. The lt. governor (elected by the General Assembly, and not by the citizens) controls which bills get a floor vote in the Senate. You'd need a pro-RKBA lt. governor for any pro-RKBA bills to get a fair shake. 2. RKBA is not an important issue for many Republicans in the General Assembly. Cheers, Whisper
  4. I carry the brown version of this light and have for a few years. It's an excellent light, great size for pocket carry. I thought I'd lost mine a few weeks ago and was getting ready to order another one just like it when it showed up in the clothes hamper. One note -- not a criticism; just something for users to know -- is that the light doesn't get noticeably dimmer as the battery power wanes; it just reaches a point where it won't come on again. So you don't get much warning that it's time to recharge. Any time you're planning an extended use session -- say a nighttime fishing trip or hunt -- you might want to charge it fully beforehand. But, like I said, a great light. HTH, Whisper
  5. Remington with a Cutts compensator is my read on this, too. But it's a little hard to tell since the guy gave you a poor-quality photo from the worst possible angle. Cheers, Whisper
  6. Cool gun. The serial number chart I use says that this serial number belongs to a 1934 PPK, but the gun in your photo is clearly a PP, and there are some disagreements among the various SN listings of Walthers up through WW2. What a nice heater. Wish I could afford it. Cheers, Whisper
  7. We will never again see 2017 ammo prices -- I was paying as low as $169 a case for Blazer Brass 9mm from Target Sports USA -- but prices do seem to have declined a bit. Probably a good idea to buy at much as possible during the next two years. Prices will rise again in anticipation of the '24 election. Stack it deep, Whisper
  8. Another bump. Surely someone wants to give this to themselves for Christmas. Check those trade options, you have one of those lying around neglected, don't you? Thanks for looking, Whisper
  9. Black Friday bump. Christmas will be here before long. Wouldn't this be nice wrapped up under the tree? Cheers, Whisper
  10. Glad to have you here. Cheers, Whisper
  11. Welcome. You chose a great state and a great gun forum. Cheers, Whisper
  12. It had its good moments and its bad. I quit watching it twice but came back both times. The last season was an improvement over the previous couple, but the final episode was only fair, I thought. I kept wanting Maggie to hang Negan, but never got to see that. Cheers, Whisper
  13. Just to be clear, because the guns look the same -- this is an original CCP, and not the later CCP M2? Thanks, Whisper
  14. Welcome; I'm a newcomer to Chattanooga myself, although I relocated from elsewhere in the state and not from the People's Republic of California. Hope you open up a gun store here. Cheers, Whisper
  15. This is a fine gun at a fair price, and if I didn't already have more J frames than I could easily count, I'd be on this. Someone needs to give this .38 a loving home for Christmas. Cheers, Whisper
  16. My wife loves Christmas even more than I do and last year she put up the tree before Thanksgiving, and nothing bad happened. This year we're in a new house and we have room for two trees, and they're both up already. Outside decorations probably going up in the next few days. I understand that some see the holiday as a commercialized greedfest. We choose to see it as a celebration of friends and family, an opportunity to reflect on the many gifts we have been given from above, and a time for fond recollection of Christmases past. Plus, some years I get a new gun. Life is good and we are richly blessed. Cheers, Whisper
  17. I'll bump it again. New trade options added. Thanks for looking, Whisper
  18. Unfortunately, Bowen Classic Arms stopped work on S&W projects in 2016. They do sell Rough Country rear sights and DX front sight blades for S&W revolvers. Whisper
  19. From reading your post it seems like you're at least reasonably familiar with firearms. I think all of the guns you've mentioned would sell pretty quickly if priced attractively. Maybe some obscure ones would go slowly, but I bet you could raise some money for your mom pretty quickly by posting them here. My advice, and worth what you paid for it, Whisper
  20. A bump for this one. Surprised it's not drawn any notice yet. Thanks for looking, Whisper
  21. Here's a review of their 9mm. Doesn't inspire lots of confidence. Belom Ammo Review - AmmoToGo.com (ammunitiontogo.com) Cheers, Whisper
  22. Ok, I'm confused -- this happened 15 months ago and it was widely covered in the music industry press and mainstream news media. Why is it surfacing here today?
  23. I would estimate there were fewer than 200 tables.
  24. It's a small show. I went today and the place was packed with vendors, but it's a small building. I found a good number of things that interested me, but prices seemed high. I wound up buying only some .38 shotshells. I have no experience with Knoxville shows.
  25. Updated ad with new trade options. Thanks for looking, Whisper
