    Bye Bye Bersa

If you want a 380, the Glock 42 is pretty hard to beat for ease and comfort.   The Pico is miserable. Terrible trigger, nothing to grab on the slide...
  2. Did you WATCH the video? There was a good 15 seconds from his raising his gun into camera view, and the first shot. ANY one carrying (that wasn't in the most unbelievable white zone I've ever witnessed) would have ended this before it started.
  3. What sort of issues are you referring to? The only thing I've ever heard is with putting + extensions on the mags, and the existing spring not having enough oomph to push the rounds up.
  4. I got it used, and I have no idea how much it was shot before me. Didn't look like much, the barrel hood didn't have a mark on it. I've run probably less than 200, myself. I can't find a serial number list on the 'net. SNGxxx, if anyone has a resource.
  5. I have a 36 that has never failed me yet. I had an XDs 45, and I couldn't hit the target nearly as well as with my 36. It was just too small, and didn't fit my hand. For ME, the 36 is perfect.   I am kinda jonesin' for a 30S, though... I've grown to like the 36 slide on the 30 frame.
  6. Yes, it's MUCH faster than here.
  7. Just followed TGO on Twitter... @TNGunOwners... looks like it's been pretty dead since Dec 2012. How's about we try to get some life back in the ol' girl?
  8. Well, you certainly know how to make someone LOOK.
  9. Looks awesome!!
  10. The game has changed... http://www.ammoland.com/2015/08/walther-ppq-45-acp-pistol-a-new-caliber/#axzz3iei6RQxU
  11. Owned both, have neither now. Of the two choices, the Glock for me. The M&P's don't fit me.   There are other options, but you didn't ask, so...
  12. I've always preferred the poon flavored tang, myself. :yum:
  13. Already left for car repairs. My mechanic owns it now.
  14. Awesome. Now, paint it orange, put "01" and a battle flag on it, and you'll be good to go!   Yeeeeeeeee-HAAAAAAAAWWWW!!!!
  15. While I am SOLIDLY pro-life... the existence of the Schumers does make a somewhat valid case for abortion.
  16. Fixed that for ya.
  17. I'd still rather dig him up than pick from the current crop.
  18. Reagan was an actor, in case you forgot.
  19. The 30S has kinda grown on me, after fondling a couple...
  20. P45 looks intriguing...
  21. Amen, and exactly how I voted.
  22. Just for the heck of it... a guy brought in one of those Extar 5.56 pistols the other day. I asked if I could shoot it. He said sure. Dude... at around $440, that is one heck of an AR pistol! The recoil was very manageable, totally unlike the KT PLR-16. I don't know about the track record, but it sure made me want one.
  23. ... with a collective total of 94% yes at this moment... (90% 2nd amendment, 4% self defense)   http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/poll-do-you-think-people-should-be-allowed-carry-guns-public
  24. "Charles Pride, the only N... uh, the only N... only name not on my list! Aw-llll-RIGHT!"
  25. Let me relate a story. Years ago, I worked at another FFL. One night, there was an elderly black woman that came in close to closing time. She was interested in getting a revolver. We showed her a few, she picked one she really liked, passed the background check quickly, paid for it, and all was fine.   As she got to the door, she turned to us and said, "Now that son of a bitch will never bother me again," and out the door she went.   We never heard any more...
