  1. Sorry, but I think negligence is negligence.
  2. So if you enable someone stealing your car ya'll think you shouldn't be liable for their actions? So if you leave a gun unlocked you shouldn't be liable for the child killing someone too?
  3. I was thinking LE too.
  4. Watching that made me wish that the hog had a gun to shoot back.
  5. Yeah, I'd have crapped my pants for sure. Edit: I actually had a similar experience when I was a police office. An overpass on I-440 had frozen over and I was placing flares to warn traffic. The overpass was banked for a bit of a curve, and traffic couldn't see far enough ahead to see the accidents. As I bent over to place a flare on the ground I slid on the ice in the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer. I used my fingernails to claw myself back out of the way and the truck barely missed me. Yes, I had to change my shorts.
  6. Amen! That has to be a relatively painful way to go.
  7. Hence the "not cornered" part of my statement. Once that caribou had distance between him and the bear one would think flight would have won the day...unless it was sick.
  8. Bears aren't exactly cheetahs either, but if you notice she was concerned with where her cubs were. I doubt she'd have gone too far from them.
  9. Basal instincts are to flee, and the animal was not cornered particularly when it had crossed the water.
  10. Being from Kansas City, it's fun to watch people in Nashville try to drive when it snows or ices. It's particularly funny to watch the people in 4x4's who think that being able to accelerate faster also means that they'll stop faster.
  11. I was driving in Kansas City one summer day when the weatherman came on the radio stating that it was clear and sunny. I watched with wonder as the storm pounded my car.
  12. Ok, I'm not a hunter but that Caribou had to be either sick or stupid. It had plenty of time to run away, but it was standing its ground.
  13. Storm door-like security doors are a good place to start. They are made of sturdy metal that open outwards so you can't kick them in too danged easy. Same principle with the lower windows.
  14. I think we should call Guido and let him handle Lenny.
  15. Exactly!
  16. Saw what city, but what state is Eugene in? I've never heard of that coffee either.
  17. Edited to embed video --Admin
  18. It more depends on where I am going, (likelihood for trouble). I carry a pocket .380 most of the time and a .45 when I am going to places in doubt.
  19. He has tender skin like just about every other vagina out there.
  20. So...their god bleeds?
  21. Rumor is Jeff is being courted by the Cowboys.
  22. I just think that money shoudln't be thrown at science for the sake of science. A lot of realistic and beneficial accomplishments could be made with the resources that are thrown away on this project if it was directed at more beneficial research. Or do you guys like having no cures for many diseases because it's not profitable enough for the drug companies to do it?
  23. Yes, let's make our children even more in debt on the off chance what they discover will be useful.
  24. A moronic response considering that I might have more of a scientific background than you do, but whatever...
