  1. Well, it was a Firebird!
  2. A guy from Scotland sits on the next row over from me at work, and he says that you're overly sensitive. He doesn't sound Scotish, but he has a sticker pinned in his cube that reads, "Not only am I PERFECT, but I'm BRITISH!" But if it trips your trigger I'll try to refrain from calling you that if I ever meet you.
  3. Is it like the thumbs-up to the Aussies?
  4. Keeping in mind that I was once a LEO who left the department because I got tired of the politics/corruption...perhaps it's because SOME police officers think that only they should have guns? I'm not saying you nor anyone you may work with does this, but there are some who have reported special problems with officers once the officer found out that they had an HCP and were carrying. Some have reported difficulty in getting their weapon back after it was seized unlawfully. Just as police treat law-abiding citizens based on the way the police treat the 10% of the people they typically deal with, so does the law-abiding citizen judge the good police based on the 10% that are bad police officers. Human nature: people remember the bad.
  5. I have a four-door 4x4 Ford...does that count? No pool. Thankfully the land slopes too much.
  6. I am so glad that I had swallowed the swig of soda that I took before reading this! I just bought an new wireless keyboard and don't need to buy another just yet.
  7. And yet I do not care.
  8. I was always talking about Strel.
  9. Not at all...unless hemorrhoids are involved.
  10. Honestly, Jamie, I'm impressed with what you wrote, (I just read the entire thread...ugh!). I found it well thought-out and direct. Good job.
  11. What a crappy retort.
  12. I think he's from Uranus.
  13. Glad you're ok, Joe.
  14. Who dat...buck-fiddy?
  15. A good example of why you don't give the developmentally challenged a video camera. I'm glad I stay away from trailer parks so that some feller don't jump up at me.
  16. That'll teach'em!
  17. If Haslam wins I'll get a laugh out of the first time the Republican legislature vetoes him.
  18. Do reputations get second chances? Isn't the proof in the pudding?
  19. Until you pull the trigger on both. The LCP felt like sandpaper, and the TCP was smooth.
  20. Anti-biotics, yes, but more importantly anti-inflammatory drops. My eyes felt like I was pepper-sprayed the entire afternoon/evening until I was able to get home. They also had me on Restasis. I layed-out over $250 in co-pays. The Restasis is expensive, I they told me after I payed for it to stop using it.
  21. I had my eyes done by Dr. Wang in Nashville a couple of months ago, and so far I'm not happy. Some of it's not Dr. Wangs fault, and some is. I will also preface my remarks with the fact that next week will be 3 months, and they are planning to do enhancements. My eyes are 20/25 in the left and 20/35 in the right, and I am right eye dominant. I had the surgery specifically to help my shooting. The surgery was the day before the Nashville floods, and my first post-op was the day of the floods. I'm sure that you know of the frequency of which you have to put medicine drops in. Coming back from the visit after having the doctor tell me that I had unusual amounts of swelling I came back to LaVergne to find that the idiot mayor declared martial law, (yes, I know that he can't do that), shut down all the roads into LaVergne, and wouldn't let anyone in or out because he was afraid of looting. Mind you, there was no looting at all going on, and only Waldron Road was actually flooded. It was several hours before Governor Numb-nuts called Mayor Moron and ordered him to open the roads it actually happened. By this time I was several hours past medication time, and my eyes felt like they had been pepper-sprayed. I do not doubt the lack of medicine didn't help the outcome of my surgery, but further follow-up visits shoed my eyes getting worse. I have mixed emotions about the follow-up enhancements. I hope it works, because I'm tired of going around with my right eye being useless. I have to shoot using my left eye when I'm right-handed, and that just doesn't feel right. So I just haven't shot at all in 3 months
  22. I thought for sure this was BS until I saw it. Wow!
  23. Gee, and here I thought "Center Mass" was an euphemism for shoot'em in the heart!
  24. There was another thread that got locked within two posts for some reason unbeknownst to me.
  25. Well, if that were to happen then their politicians would no longer be so since there is no electorate or state to represent.
