  1. It's case law, but I find that many local judges do not concern their selves with such matters. I was a Missouri State certified RADAR instructor in the 90's. It's also case law that the officer must be using audio on the counter so that you can distinguish between a true and false reading.
  2. That swelling ball of energy is cool looking!
  3. Not only no but heck no! There's no way that I could stand that long even if I were so inclined, but I don't think anyone's worth that wait. On the bad-boy side of me I do kind of hope to see the protesters go too far and get the crap kicked out of them and then arrested.
  4. LOL! My thought was, what good would it do you to have a 50' lanyard when the 18,000 lbs tube came flying back at you?
  5. The Marine Corps gets their budget through the Navy and subsequently are sucking hind teat: therefore, they have to be smart with their money. The difference is clearly evident in something as inane as the chow hall. When I went to Tactical Nuclear Weapons School on Coronado I thought I was dreaming upon seeing steak and lobster on the menu. The only time that you saw steak in a Marine Corps' chow hall was on the Marine Corps Birthday, and you'd never see lobster. In 1983, my 3rd 8" Howitzer Battery tested the red bag powder and ICM for the Army R&D. We had to use a 50' lanyard because they didn't know whether the hydraulics could handle the recoil of the new powder. One would think that the Army preferred to blow up a Marine Corps howitzer rather their own, but it actually made financial sense. The gun range at 29 Palms was the largest, and it's better to damage equipment that's already there than to transport equipment there to destroy. It was all good because the hydraulics held up just fine.

  7. Naw, I could buy a few more.
  8. They also pay to re-locate employees. The employee can move or decline. After all, it's just that easy according to some here on this forum.
  9. Too bad the star in the movie is a loud-mouthed libtard.
  10. Thanks, but greater than $200 for a plinker scope is too rich for my blood.
  11. Everything's better with bacon!!
  12. Like the title says, I'm looking for recommendations for a scope to put on my Ruger 10/22. Purpose is for plinking and varmint control.
  13. Doing stupid things lead to stupid consequences.
  14. Seller's remorse is real. I traded-in my favorite car - a 2013 BOSS 302 Mustang - so that my wife could have a car that she could drive. We had a truck, (for pulling the travel trailer), that we carpooled in because she couldn't/wouldn't drive it. She didn't dare try to drive the BOSS. I still miss that car. I also miss my Sig Sauer DMR that I sold in a weak moment of frustration brought on by a failed LASIK surgery.
  15. I sent an email calling attention to the fact that when I like a post I get a message saying that I'm not authorized to do that.
  16. Well, that's BS. I wonder why they did it? Perhaps they aren't worried about civilian deals now?
  17. I do have a thing for gingers!
  18. No argument here!
  19. Don't the Brits have a long standing history of claiming that we do not speak English either?
  20. Watching talented people doing that is amazing!
  21. I'll try to be succinct. 1. I was on the open track at Beech Bend for my third run in Sept 2008. 2. After shifting to 4th and at WOT something gave way. It appeared from the audience that I blew a head gasket, but I think that it was the smaller coolant hose that goes under the harmonic balancer. 3. Radiator fluid dumped all over my rear tires placing me on a skating rink. 4. I crossed lanes and hit the wall somewhere south of 100 MPH. I bounced off the wall, crossed back over and struck the wall for my lane. 5. Car totaled. I hit hard enough that the 14" front brake rotor on the left side broke in half. I walked away badly bruised, but at least I walked away.
  22. Just don't post pictures of the wreck. That still makes me want to cry.
  23. I always liked that color with the wheels. My 2008 was Vista Blue.
  24. Well, if you include had, rather than have, then this is the last one. I also had a 2008 GT500 boosted to 650HP. This picture was taken on The Tail of The Dragon.
  25. When you register for warranty you get a 20% discount coupon for your first accessory/parts order.
