  1. http://www.wbir.com/story/news/local/military/2014/02/03/mossy-grove-lines-streets-for-soldiers-return/5195987/ Went to high school with this guy, so glad he made it home safe.
  2. With my stock all the way collapsed the lower barely fits. The upper even if I had a 16" barrel would still hang out. I think a 12" might fit. I guarantee a 10" would fit My lower measures 16" so anything much longer that that will not fit
  3. I wasn't clear earlier, I completely separated the upper and lower. I collapsed my stock all the way and the lower barely fits lengthwise. The upper even if it was a 16" would still hang out like mine, a 10 or 12" barreled upped might fit. If you watch the video, the AR he uses has a really trick removable barrel. And it has some sort of folding stock. A "regular" AR without a removable barrel will not fit.
  4. Here's a shot of 2 mags in the interior pouch.
  5. This bag isn't designed to carry a rifle, it doesn't have straps to secure the upper or lower. It does have a pistol holster in the outer pouch and 2 pouches inside the main compartment will barely fit 2 standard 30rd mags. Here's some pictures I took of my bag trying to hold a 20" a2.
  6. I have the same pack, its an awesome pack but unless you have the really trick AR in the video it's not gonna fit, I'll see if I can post a picture of my ar against the bag, I have a 20" a2 AR, it does have 2 pouches inside the main compartment that fit 30 rd mags. I use mine as an edc or overnight bag, it has a holster hidden in the outside compartment behind a velcro flap has room for a change of clothes and has a sleeve for a hydration bladder. It's a great bag, the price is good and the company is great, veteran owned and operated.
  7. I would wanna smell them but I could definitely see myself going for the cedar scented.
  8. As many bad things as I can think of aren't as bad as these people deserve I just know that they will have to answer for their actions one day.
  9. This really sucks for people like me, my work schedule changes week to week and I don't know what it will be until the Friday or sometimes Saturday before the schedule starts on Sunday. I have managed to put back 300 rounds of 9mm since this time last year and about 200 rounds of 5.56 and when neither of those were available I would pick up 20rd boxes of my different hunting calibers. I haven't bought any .22 in over a year, I'm so over this ammo situation its beyond words. I bought a gamo air rifle to use in place of my .22 since pellets are cheap and available.
  10. At the risk of sounding insensitive, I'm gonna say the hcp holder did the right thing. Is he gonna have a hard time proving he was in fear for his life and couldn't get away, maybe.
  11. Clear as mud, ya my Toyota Tacoma with bedliner on the sides isn't your typical drug dealers vehicle of choice. Plus I only have 16" wheels so I would be the lamest drug dealer ever.
  12. I went Friday to the 7pm showing in Oak Ridge and some moron behind me kept putting his commentary in there, everything he said was wrong, down to the calibers of the weapons. I let out a couple of shushes and "shut up"s but I was in a bad spot being in front of him. I'm not the type to go tattle, I'm just glad most of the movie was loud enough that I couldn't hear him. Trust me I wanted to turn around and jack his jaws, and yes I was concealed carrying, but wow I still can't imagine shooting someone for texting at the movies.
  13. Dang that is an excellent idea, I don't buy a lot of guns from gun shops but one could feasibly "pay" for his hcp just by saving the nics check fee. I personally would like to see the nfa done away with but that will never happen for many reasons, but I would settle with suppressors being taken out of the nfa.
  14. It sickens me that a large portion of our country is in support of this.
  15. Agreed, I've drove my truck a lot of places and never been hassled.
  16. How so? When I goto Maryland I don't have to have a front plate. I highly doubt a judge would uphold a citation with the same circumstances as you mentioned. Now that doesn't mean an officer would pull you over for it. I put 20% over top of my factory tint in the rear and xtra-cab windows with 20% only on the door glass and I've never even been questioned about it, my back and extra-cab glass is 8-10% best I can figure.
  17. Water, more than you think you can use and drink, and ways to procure and purify more water cause you can't store enough. Food and a way to prepare it. Alternative ways to keep your house warm. Medical supplies, stock it even if you don't know how to use it, could be a barter item or maybe someone can use it on you. Tools to do the work usually done by powertools.
  18. One thing I did like is that the suppressed rifles didn't sound the way Hollywood normally makes them sound, you know like someone sneezing or however you like to describe it.
  19. Awesome movie, best I've seen in a while
  20. I'm going tonight with the wife, I can't wait.
