  1. Sorry for the loss of your friend 45 guy.
  2. Cheap and reliable = Hi Point otherwise that cheap isn't a gamble I'll take.  YMMV.
  3. My eyes are pretty tough but that hurt.
  4. I cannot grow a full  beard, just a stash and a goatee. I joined Dollar Shave Club for the  cheap blades because I'm cranially follicle challenged and I shave my skull. Beats getting raped by Gillettte.
  5. Wow. thanks for posting this.
  6. Howdy Ray!   I found this.   http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2013/08/14/iwi-silently-updates-tavor-x-95-design/
  7. More proof that anti gun folks don't think things through.
  8. I've never so much as thought about using thier services but I know now I won't ever. Are any commercial taxi's posted ?       http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/06/20/uber-banning-riders-drivers-from-carrying-guns/?intcmp=latestnews
  9. I think I'd notify the owner / manager of the public place and let him handle it. Then again I might call the police also, don't know for sure. The one thing I do know is I wouldn't give a rat's ass if the owner got it back or not. IMO if you don't know where your carry piece is at all times you shouldn't carry. Period.
  10. Yeah. That's the least fun part. That and punching the holes.
  11. Artificial sinew.  The light and dark spots are there. Shoulda probably dyed it before I wet formed it.  I'm still learning. Gonna make a pancake for my RIA commander next.
  12. Just completed. The dye didn't take evenly, my only complaint.
  13. Those bastages used to come into my dorm when I was stationed in Nevada.  :stare:
  14. I mixed my own using rusty nails I got off a construction site, I let it brew for two weeks. Still had an odor but it left the holster after a few days.  I too have heard that too much and too long of a soak in the neutralizer will damage leather.  I used a  small spoonful in a half filled kitchen sink and let it soak 15 - 20 seconds, then rinsed with clean water.
  15. I did it once. Turned the leather flat black nearly instantly.  Your supposed to neutralize the acid in the vinegar by doing a quick soak in a baking soda solution.
  16. For my model 19 Smith Currently in progress One Made earlier for the Bersa
  17. 1st.  Connery   2nd.  Craig   The others sucked.

    New Pistol

    I have one but it's a .40  It's a good pistol.
  19. I'm glad to see this but I won't be buying any more 855. I have a couple hundred rounds left from the 420 round can I bought last summer but M193 gives me smaller groups.
  20. Well now,  13 days after the initial release of the proposed ban it's just starting to make national news.  Will this make a difference, get more of us to take action against the proposed ban ? I don't know and I'm not sure it will.  I've been following the responses on many shooting related forums and the response to the BATFE 's proposal has been deafeningly silent.
  21.   How can you believe that the Sig brace debacle is on the same plane as banning our favorite ammo?  Do not most  gunners shoot  using  rifles, not pistols taking advantage of a loophole now rescinded by the powers that be ?
  22. This should trigger a push back against the BATFE.  We all know it's gun control through regulation rather than legislation.  I'll be writing Cohen, Corker, and Alexander.
