  1. 15 for 15. I must have cheated. :pleased:
  2. Mine is the 4 1/4 " barrel G.I. It has run great straight out of the box. had to change out that teeny front sight though. This $400 1911 is a great gun.
  3. I only paid a little over $400 for my RIA and it works very well.

A DA/SA with a cocked and locked option ?  I think that that's kind of defeats the purpous for having SA/DA.  My nightstand PX4 and my Bersa UC9 carry weapons were chosen because I don't want to have to make sure the safety is off if I need it to go bang quickly. As far as the OP that new M9 is just plain ugly. Might look better in black like Ohshoot said, maybe not.
  5. The homeless woman has been around since the beginning. Whenever she shows up someone important dies. She's a ghost.  It was revealed last season that she was Brooke's mother (Rat's girl ) . She died in the accident that killed Jax's dad. IMO the reference to the piece of bread was she was there and saw things come to the final end.
  6. I'm happy with my $400 RIA. Accurate as I am, probably better. Hasn't jammed in over 600 rounds. Doesn't have the best finish but that's good. I'd probably have a fit if I scratched a 2K Wilson Combat that I'm sure I couldn't shoot any better with.
  7. Gun rights have been gaining ground since the Heller decision from the SCOTUS, next on to the decision to basically make Illinois a shall issue State to today's decision on counties in California requiring residents to show a reason to carry a gun? What a change from two years ago .
  8. He gives out the facts in a way that is beyond the intelligence of most people I know. He should have his own TV  hour. He blows the doors off of the likes of Hannity, Limaugh, Huckaby, et all. The way he tackles the issues we face might wake more people up. I'd love to see more folk like him spreading the word of truth.
  9. Just 4 days ago was the 34th anniversary of John Bonham's death and the end of Led Zepplin as I knew them. I graduated HS that past June and turned 18 a month after. I was in the delayed enlistment plan, going into the USAF come February.  Zep was gonna tour after their release of  IN Through The Out Door   and was to come to Cleveland, Oh in December. I was gonna be there come hell or high water but alas this tragedy shot down my dream. This was the biggest disappointment of my young life. RIP Bonzo.
  10. Hello and welcome.  I'm jealous. I don't have a 92 yet and I'm twice your age.
  11. Sorry David. I know how much my dogs mean to me and I feel for you.
  12. Well JT I'd have to win the lottery too. Since this thread is mostly all of us dreaming I'm gonna dream big ! Cap is right too, it's more like 1200 RPM
  13. Gas is cheaper than bacon. Bacon tastes better than gas.
  14. I'm thinking keep her if you can. I kinda think Like Red in that happened for a reason. As for finding her a better home than you can provide you surely can give her a better one than she has now. I wouldn't begin to try to find the owner if she has no chip. If she does then she, IMO, got away somehow from someone that probably cares about her and that's the only thing that would make me try to return her otherwise you could be signing her death certificate. You're a good man for caring about this pup.
  15. Where is Bajabuc when you need him. He was our resident flintlock shooter.
  16. I have one. It was a birthday gift from my Sister 4 years ago. . 40 cal. I like it it a lot. Good accuracy, no more recoil than my 1911 and it's the easiest pistol to field strip I've ever seen. I've heard a lot of crap about the rotating barrel that in my opinion is bull####. It's an update Cougar which is now made by Stoeger. Both are fine pistols. I've probably put 700 rounds through it with one failure to feed and that was with cheap Remington hollow points. It gets put in my nightstand every single night loaded with Winchester ranger 165 gr.
  17. No. the 1911 forums have their share of snobs but they don't berate those of us that own RIA's.
  18. I liked most everything he did. I have no words except one. Damn.
  19. I would have told him " I appreciate your concern" then turned my back and ignored him.
  20. Sig  themselves from what I've read.
  21. Yeah, this is the right forum. 9mm 124gr Anyone else tried these. I haven't shot any yet.
  22. Here is another Rock that's been flawless from day 1. Changed the grips also as well as those tiny G.I. sights.
  23. This^. Back off of Cap. He's a friend of mine and there are none finer than him. Stop trolling him.
