  1. I will start a new thread for the get together
  2. It is definitely muddy this time of year.   I stopped by there on the way home. He said he would need atleast $150 to reserve one side, pistol side or rifle side, for a day.
  3. I would think you need atleast 10 rifle mags and 10 pistol mags. They wear out and break. I have plenty of mags for the rifles and pistols I have, but I do have 6 Glock 19 mags that are on their last leg and 1 that will double feed atleast 2 times for every 15 rounds through it. I have thought about throwing it out, but at the sme time I feel it is a good training aid. Instead of setting up a double feed that mag will do it for me, not exactly unexpected but better than setting it up yourself.  However, I dont have any AR mags, but then I dont have a completed AR either, snooze you loose. I am not going to overpay for anything.
  4. If we do something like this I think we would need to reserve the range, it can be over crowded at times. Just called, Terry wasnt there. But the lady I talked to said they would need 2-3 week notice to reserve the range for a group, but didnt know any other details. I will update this when I actually talk to Terry.
  5. That would be cool. I know he has closed the range for other groups, so it shouldn't be a problem.
  6. Yes, as the bullet weight goes up the powder charge goes down.  I thought you were loading for 38 special?
  7. Been a while since I tried them, but I think they drop about a foot compared to standard velocity rounds at 25 yards.
  8. Few of my favorites that haven't been mentioned, but I dont think there is a movie that got me into guns.   The Way of the Gun Sinners and Saints Hit List Prodigy
  9. Thats one I was looking at, 31 caliber M die. Having never used a neck expander die, I didnt know if it would work with .316 bullets. I think the 32 caliber would be to big.
  10. No it is a 3 die set- sizing die, bullet seater, and factory crimp die. Dont think I have seen a powder drop die for it
  11. They are lee dies. They have a 308 decapper and a 310 decapper. I dont have a mold yet but just going by my experience so far with loading cast 9mm. If I dont have the case mouth belled enough it will shave lead of the bullet.   No I dont have your number.   Thank-you
  12. In my quest to reload 7.62x39 I have realized I need a neck expander die. My barrels are .312-.314 so I will need to use .314-.316 lead bullets. My resizer die sizes the necks to .310 inside diameter. Neck expanders I see available are a RCBS .311, Lyman has a 31 caliber expander for .303 British and then there is the Lee universal expander.  Will any these work for me? Or will I have to have something made? May just have to buy one and see how it works.
  13. http://defensedistributed.com/   Looks like these guys have made it past 6 rounds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFhIxey5AXM&feature=player_embedded
  14. Not yet, but it will if the libs have their way. Just ask Great Britain.
  15. Yes they are a private company and can legally place these ignorant policies on their employees. But we also have a right to let them know they are wrong and let the victim know he was right. And we also have the right not to patronize their business again. If we just let this stuff slide then more and more companies will make such policies and the fear of self defense will be ingrained into more and more people. And the next thing you know criminals will have free reign to do what they want and when somebody does defend themselves they go to jail for longer than the criminal.
  16. I dont think making calls or sending emails is going to do a thing, in the long run. The only way anything meaningful is going to happen is if we get out there and make it happen. If we just sit back and make phone calls and send emails while the other side is out there protesting or whatever who do you think is going to win?   If we dont stop it now, we will loose this country to the left very quickly if its not already to late. Thats just my opinion on the matter.
  17. I got the Worx semiauto driver and a couple steel targets.
  18. I bought my first reloading stuff used and it came with a set of the lee dippers. I have never used them till just now, but with the .5 dipper I get 5.5-5.7 grains of power pistol with it. But I am with the others, I would get a scale
  19. Manchester
  20. I would just ask him if it is ok when you get there and take them with you when you leave.
  21.   Yep, I have been collecting 10mm brass for a while from the local range. I think I have 80 or 90 pcs
  22. So what do yall think of this mold for 7.62x39? Seems similar to the lee 155gr bullet. http://noebulletmolds.com/orders/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=263   Found another mold that I like better, but dont know when it will actually go into production http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?167692-MiHec-311410-Brass-Cramer-HP
  23. How long has it been since you have been there? You know he expanded the rifle side some already. There is the covered area to shoot from and to the right of that another 20ft or so concrete slab to shoot from. But, you're right, I have still seen it packed at times.
  24. I seen it, aint you never seen nothing before   ETA-I went to school in Arkansas, what do you expect?
  25. Anybody shoot at Waldens? Price is going up to $10 a day at the first of the year due to ignorant people leaving trash everywhere and bringing stupid crap for targets and leaving it there. Also have heard someone shot a deer there once, and someone brought a tiller to shoot up and left it there. But he is expanding on the pistol side, it maybe set up like a combat range but hasnt decided yet
